Conyers, Ga. - Terry Lee Archie, 46, formerly of High Point, N.C., died March 28, 2000, at Rockdale Hospital.
He was born July 10, 1953, in High Point, a son of Rosalie Archie. He graduated from T. Wingate Andrews High School, class of 1971. He was preceded in death by his father, Lelen Archie; and a son, Carlos Manning.
Surviving are his mother; a daughter, Trimaca Manning; five brothers, Johnny (Henrietta) Archie of Covington, Christopher (Barbara) Archie of High Point, Kenneth (Barbara) Archie of Conyers, Phillip (Annette) Archie and Fredrick (Suzette) Archie, both of E. Orange, N.J.; his former wife, Alice Manning; five sisters, (Lewis) Gloria McBride, (John)Robin McIntyre, and (Timothy) Phyllis Brinson, all of High Point, (Walter) Gale Virgil of Raeford, and (Allen) Beverly Kearney of East Orange, N.J.; his stepmother, Annie Archie of E. Orange; a great-aunt, Dennie Robinson of High Point; a friend, Doris Ford of High Point; six grandchildren, Terri Chapman, Alex White, Kerian Manning, Carlos Manning Jr., Saquen Manning and Corey Bennett; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and friends.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Hargett-Gilmore Memorial Chapel. Burial will be in Piedmont Memorial Gardens in Winston-Salem. Visitation will be 7-7:30 tonight at the funeral home.
Ralph Beamon Sr.
Trinity - Ralph Shelton Beamon Sr., 75, of 6168 Lowerywood Circle died March 31, 2000, at Community General Hospital in Thomasville, following six years of declining health.
He was born Dec. 19, 1924, in North Wilkesboro, a son of John and Elvia Beamon. He was a resident of High Point and Trinity most of his life. He was a U.S. Army veteran, having served in World War II and retired from Claude Gable Furniture Co. On Sept. 28, 1973, he married the former Dolly Brinkley, who survives of the residence.
Also surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Janie Barham and Mrs. Minnie Pearl Flinchum, both of Raleigh, and Mrs. Tim (Brenda) Goins of Trinity; five sons, Ralph S. Beamon Jr. and his wife, Tammie, of Trinity, Henry Beamon of Greensboro, George Beamon of Winston-Salem, Scott Beamon of California and Harley Case and his wife, Judy, of Trinity; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. Monday at the chapel of Cumby Family Funeral Service. Burial will be in Floral Garden Park Cemetery. Visitation will be 7-8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home and at other times at the residence.
June Bivins
High Point - Mrs. June Ward Bivins, 77, of 115 Cornell St. died March 30, 2000, at her residence.
She was born Oct. 27, 1922, in Guilford County, a daughter of Roby and Grace Edith Yarborough Ward. On May 18, 1945, she married Glenn R. Bivins, who preceded her in death in 1978. She was preceded in death by two children, Gary Bivins and Catherine Johnson.
Surviving are her mother; a son, Richard Keith Bivins and his wife, Julie, of High Point; her son-in-law, David Johnson of High Point; her daughter-in-law, Laura Bivins of Trinity; a sister, Evelyn Hutchins of Winston-Salem; two brothers, Wendell Ward and his wife, Jackie, of Thomasville and Ronnie Ward and his wife, Glenda, of Archdale; seven grandchildren, Tabetha Bivins, Richard Bivins, David A. Johnson, Mark Johnson, Emily Bivins, Jordan Bivens and Jarrod Bivins; two great-grandchildren, Andrew and Elizebeth Johnson.
Funeral will be 4 p.m. Sunday at the chapel of Cumby Family Funeral Service, High Point, by the Rev. Barry Roberts. Burial will be in Guilford Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be 5-7 tonight at the funeral home.

Southmont - Sara Elizabeth Conner, 18, died at 5:25 p.m. March 29, 2000, at Wake Forest University Medical Center from injuries received in an auto accident.
Memorial service will be 3:30 p.m. Monday at Becks Lutheran Church. Visitation will be 6-9 p.m. Sunday at Davidson Funeral Home, Lexington.
Minnie Easter
High Point - Mrs. Minnie Dunlap Easter, 67, of Elm Towers died March 31, 2000, at High Point Regional Hospital.
She was born May 20, 1932, in Guilford County, a daughter of Fletcher and Winnie Cox Dunlap. She retired from Indian Head Hosiery Mill and was a former activities director at Elm Towers. She was a member of Hayworth Memorial Wesleyan Church. She was married to George Easter, who preceded her in death Nov. 20, 1986. She also was preceded in death by a sister, Linda Leffew and a brother Tommy Dunlap.
Surviving are four brothers, Gene Dunlap and his wife, Flossie, of Raleigh, Howard Dunlap and his wife, Loraine, of High Point, Clyde Dunlap and his wife, Margie, of Greensboro and Bobby Dunlap and his wife, Anita, of Thomasville; two special friends, Alvin Andrews and June Hendrix; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral will be 4 p.m. Sunday in the chapel of Cumby Family Funeral Service, Archdale, by the Rev. David M. Emery. Burial will be in Floral Garden Park Cemetery. Visitation will be 7-8:30 tonight at the funeral home and other times at the residence of Robin Thalasinos, 3928 Chet Drive, Trinity.

Sarah Farlow
Archdale - Mrs. Sarah Mae Nelson Farlow, 84, formerly of 3381 Mt. Olive Church Road, Sophia, died March 31, 2000, at Tru-Care Inc. of Archdale, following several months of declining health.
She was born Oct. 31, 1915, in Randolph County, a daughter of Logan and Mamie Ferguson Nelson. She was a resident of Sophia most of her life and retired from New Market School as a cafeteria worker. She was a member of Mt. Olive Wesleyan Church and the Senior Adult Sunday School Class. On Aug. 20, 1935, she married Williard Lee Farlow, who preceded her in death July 23, 1956. She was preceded in death by a brother, Allen Nelson and a sister, Miss Eleanor Nelson.
Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. John (Sarah) Kennerley of Pontiac, Ill., Mrs. Donald (Eunice) Segers of 3423 Mt. Olive Church Road, Sophia, and Mrs. Morris (Lois) Saunders of Hertford; two sons, Isaac Farlow and his wife, Vickie, of 3139 Mt. Olive Church Road, Sophia, and Joel Jason Farlow and his wife, Patricia, of 3325 Mt. Olive Church Road, Sophia; a brother, Leroy Nelson and his wife, Judy, of Long Beach; two sisters, Mrs. Jack (Leah) Baker of Pliney Farlow Rd., Trinity, and Mrs. Harry (Inez) Hayworth of Wallburg; 14 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Mt. Olive Wesleyan Church by the Rev. H. Garland McDowell and the Rev. James L. Denny. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The body will be at Cumby Family Funeral Service, Archdale, until placed in the church 30 minutes prior to the service. Visitation will be at the funeral home 7-8:30 tonight and at other times at the residence of her daughter, Eunice Segers.

Midway - Ray Michael Hill, Sr., 78, of Ridge Road died at 4:25 a.m. March 31, 2000, at Lexington memorial Hospital.

Hubert Mitcham
High Point - Hubert E. Mitcham, 81, of 1114 Tabor St., died March 30, 2000, at High Point Regional Hospital.
He was born Nov. 23, 1918, in Troy, Ala., a son of Louie and Ethel Matthews Mitcham. He was a lifelong resident of High Point and retired from Central Transport Co. He was a U.S. Army veteran and was a member of First United Methodist Church. On July 4, 1942, he married the former Helen Marie Friddle, who survives of the residence.
Also surviving are a daughter, Betty Marie Mitcham of the residence; a son, David Louie Mitcham and his wife, Monique Crabtree, of Charlotte; two sisters, Hilda Johns of Aiken, S.C., and Marianne Roney and her husband, Lafyette, of Charlotte; a brother, Harold Mitcham of Montgomery, Ala.; and three grandchildren., Louie, Joseph and Sam Mitcham of Charlotte.
Funeral will be 3:30 p.m. Sunday at Sechrest Funeral Home Chapel, High Point, by the Rev. Donnell Lloyd and the Rev. Roy Grant. Burial will be in Floral Garden Park Cemetery. Visitation will be 7-8:30 p.m. tonight at the funeral home.

High Point - Mabang Sengdavone, 75, of 823 E. Lexington Ave. died March 30, 2000, at High Point Regional Hospital.
He was born Feb. 2, 1925, in Laos, a son of Eng and Bang Sengdavone. He was a member of First Wesleyan Church, the Laos Association and the Friendship Association. He was preceded in death by his wife, Champa Sengdavone.
Surviving are his mother; a daughter, Ly Thinnayone of the residence; a son, Khao Sengdavone of Laos; a sister, Lee Sengdavone of Laos; and a brother, Mark Sengdavone of Morganton.

Ina Windham
High Point - Mrs. Ina Ree Brown Windham, 94, of Wesleyan Arms Inc. died March 31, 2000, at the nursing home.
She was born Dec. 27, 1905, in Stokes County, a daughter of John H. and Betty E. Ziglar Brown. She was a resident of Guilford County for 70 years. She was a homemaker, a member of the VFW Auxiliary, Westchester Baptist Church and No. 5 Sunday School Class. On June 26, 1926, she married James R. Windham, who preceded her in death Sept. 30, 1999.
Surviving are a nephew, Dan Vernon of Stoneville.

High Point - Mrs. Gertrude Blakley, 82, formerly of 130 Fowler St. died April 1, 2000, at 8:50 a.m. at Lexington Health Care.
She was born Jan. 8, 1917, in Surry County, a daughter of William Austin and Letshia Goins Lewis. She was a retired employee of Custom Craft Furniture Co. and was of the Baptist faith. Twice married, she was first married to Elvin Edward Weavil and then to Theodore Roosevelt (T.R.) Blakley, both of whom preceded her in death. She also was preceded in death by a brother, Ervin Lee Weavil.
Surviving are a daughter, Carol Fleming of 8374 Harlow Road Lot 5; a son, Edward Junior Weavil and his wife, Mary Frances, of Winston-Salem; seven grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Frank Lewis and Sherman Lewis of Greensboro; two sisters, Mrs. Locky (Dorothy) Reynolds of Liberty and Mrs. Billie Wall of Pleasant Garden.
Funeral will be 12:30 p.m. Monday in the chapel of Cumby Family Funeral Service in Archdale by the Rev. Todd Griffin. Burial will follow in the Floral Garden Park Cemetery.
