Jason Albury
Walkertown - Jason Christopher Albury, 16, of 2740 Old Hollow Rd. died April 3, 2000, at Moses Cone Hospital from injuries received in an automobile accident.
He was born June 11, 1983, in England, a son of James H. Albury Jr. and Sherry Taylor Teague. He was a student at Forsyth Technical College and was a member of Kerwin Baptist Church.
Surviving are his mother and stepfather, Sherry and Billy Teague of Walkertown; his father and stepmother, James and Kim Albury of Bushnell, Fla.; two sisters, Tiffanie Albury of Walkertown and Amber Albury of Bushnell, Fla.; a brother, James Albury III of Walkertown; a stepsister, Melanie Sallee of Bushnell, Fla.; three stepbrothers, Mark Sallee, Matthew and Michael Mahr, all of Bushnell, Fla.; maternal grandmother and stepgrandfather, Wanda and Larry Jones of Thomasville; paternal grandmother, Norma Jean Albury of Homosassa, Fla.; maternal grandfather, David Taylor and his former wife, Beverly, of Trinity; stepgrandparents, Sandra and Jerald Teague of Wallburg; stepgrandparents, Davis and Vicki Chaffee of Bushnell, Fla.
Funeral will be 11 a.m. Friday at Kerwin Baptist Church by the Rev. Joe Myers and the Rev. Dan Hawtree. Burial will be in Whitaker's Chapel, Pilot Mountain. Visitation will be 7-9 p.m. tonight at Hayworth-Miller-Cain Funeral Home in Kernersville.
Bobby Allred
Lexington - Bobby Lee Allred, 69, of Becks Church Road died April 5, 2000, at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home after declining health of one year.
Funeral will be 11 a.m. Friday at Grace Alliance Church. Visitation will be 6-8 tonight at Davidson Funeral Home.
William Ashburn
Randleman - William Junior Ashburn, 66, of 7139 Downsfield Road died April 5, 2000, at his residence.
He was born Jan. 13, 1934, in Surry County, a son of William Lee and Ida Holcomb Ashburn. He retired from the City of High Point and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. On Sept. 4, 1953, he married the former Patricia Snider, who survives of the residence.
Also surviving are four daughters, Marquita McBane and her husband, Gene, of Graham, Victoria 'Vicki' Hickman and her husband, Earl, of Randleman, Letitia 'Tish' Johnson and her husband, Floyd, of Franklinville and Samantah Elyamani and her husband, Osami, of Asheboro; two sons, Floyd D. Ashburn and his wife, Barbara, of Springfield, Ore., and Tony O. Ashburn and his wife, Briggette, of Roanoke, Va.; 17 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; two brothers, Clifford Ashburn of State Road and Phillip Ashburn of Westfield; and a sister, Royal Brown of Archdale.
Funeral will be 3:30 p.m. Friday at the chapel of Cumby Family Funeral Service, Archdale, by the Rev. Junior Dawkins. Burial will be in Floral Garden Park Cemetery. Visitation will be 7-9 tonight at the funeral home.

Velva Bryan
Greensboro - Mrs. Velva Louise Johnson Bryan, 67, of Vickery Chapel Road died April 5, 2000, at Wesley Long Community Hospital.
She was born July 11, 1932, in Guilford County, a daughter of Robah Dallas and Mabel Parris Johnson. She was a graduate of Trinity High School and retired from Rose's Department Store as an advertising manager. On Dec. 23, 1950, she married Robert M. Bryan, who survives of the residence.
Also surviving are a daughter, Cynthia 'Cindy' Graham of High Point; a son, Larry W. Bryan and his wife, Jean, of Charlotte; her mother of High Point; three sisters, Mrs. Frances Agner of High Point, Mrs. Mildred Reece of Thomasville and Mrs. Eyvonne Largen of Winston-Salem; a brother, Leon Johnson of Welcome; and six grandchildren, William Bryan, Laurie Bryan, Shane Graham, Cari Graham, Wendy Graham and Emily Graham.
Graveside service will be noon Saturday in Ebenezer United Methodist Church Cemetery by the Rev. Houston Tilley and Jack W. Boyles Jr. Visitation will be 7-8:30 p.m. Friday at Cumby Family Funeral Service, Archdale.
Lois Camp
Thomasville - Mrs. Lois H. Camp, 71, of 708 Overbrook Drive died April 6, 2000, at High Point Regional Hospital.
She was born Oct. 18, 1928, in Davidson County, a daughter of Oscar P. and Edna Richardson Hoover, who preceded her in death. She lived her entire life in this area. She was a graduate of High Point University. She was a retired teacher with the Davidson County Public school system, serving more than 35 years. During her teaching career, she taught at Pilot School and Brown E. Lawson Middle School. She was a member of the Retired Teachers Association; North Carolina Association of Educators; and the National Association of Educators. She was a member of Unity United Methodist Church.
Surviving are her husband of 50 years, Jack P. Camp Jr. of the residence; two daughters, Mrs. Debbie Camp Russo and her husband, Darrel, of Chattanooga, Tenn., and Mrs. Janet Camp Crigler and her husband, Hugo, of Winston-Salem; a brother, Joe Hoover and his wife, Helen, of Mocksville; and a grandson, Jamie Russo.
Graveside service will be 11 a.m. Friday in Holly Hill Memorial Park Cemetery by the Rev. DeForest E. Hillyer. Visitation will be 6:30-8:30 tonight at J.C. Green & Sons Funeral Home and other times at the residence.

Lexington - Mrs. Magdalene Koonts Davis, 80, formerly of Mt. Moriah Drive, died at 4:55 p.m. April 4, 2000, in Lexington Memorial Hospital after a serious illness. of three months.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. Friday at Davidson Funeral Home Lexington Chapel. Visitation will be 6-8 tonight at the funeral home.

Archdale - Mrs. Millie Esther Sink Farlow, 87, formerly of 3611 Luck Drive died April 5, 2000, at GrayBrier Nursing and Retirement Center.

Tryon - James Norman Griffin, 82, of 315 Laurel Drive died April 3, 2000, at White Oak Manor Nursing Center.

Ricky Hagy
Trinity - Ricky Dean Hagy, 42, of 4912 Covered Bridge Road died April 4, 2000, from injuries received as a result of an automobile accident.
He was born Dec. 20, 1957, in Iager, W. Va., a son of Dennis and Juanita Rife Hagy. He was a self-employed retailer and was a U.S. Army veteran. He was of the Holiness faith.
Surviving are his fiancee, Alicia Cornell of the residence; two daughters, Ricki Maria Hagy of Archdale and Renee Raby of Jolo, W.Va.; a son, Jake Hagy of New Hampshire; a sister, Sheila Bailey Keaton of Sophia; two brothers, Luke Proffit of Asheboro and Marcus Riffe of Archdale; and a grandson, Austin Cole Hagy.
Funeral will be noon Saturday at Shiloh Holiness Church, Pea Patch, Va. Burial will be in Rife Cemetery. Visitation will be 7-8:30 tonight at Sechrest Funeral Service, Archdale, and Friday evening at Shiloh Holiness Church. The body will be removed to Fanning Funeral Home in Iager, W. Va.
A. Hudson
Thomasville - Miss Anastasia Sean 'Stacy' Hudson, 20, of 5 Hodges Drive died April 4, 2000, at Duke Hospital in Durham after a lifelong, heroic, and difficult struggle against cystic fibrosis and a year of declining health and final hospitalization on March 22, 2000.
She was born Dec. 23, 1979, in Thomasville Community General Hospital, a daughter of Sandra Cranford Hudson. She graduated from Thomasville Senior High School class of 1998, where she was a member of the National Honor Society, a member of the Scarlet Regiment Marching Band, and played varsity volleyball, and she also held office in and was a member of a number of activities including S.A.D.D. and the French Club.
She was awarded the 1998 Christy Berrier Memorial Scholarship, and the Rotary Scholarship. She was a senior superlative, a N.C. Scholar Athlete, a DAR Good Citizen, and achieved many other awards and recognition in high school. She was a sophomore at Meredith College in Raleigh, where she maintained excellent grades despite her frequent hospitalizations and arduous daily treatment regimen. She was preceded in death by her beloved grandmother, Doris Louise Shoemaker Cranford, April 8, 1999.
Surviving are her mother; a grandfather, Julian Edward Cranford Sr. of the home; an aunt, Jane Cranford and Jane's significant other, Fidel Davila, of 907 Sunset Drive, High Point; her uncle, Julian Edward Cranford Jr. and his wife, Kim, and his daughter, Laura Cranford, of 1497 Smith Farm Road, Lexington; and many friends, including Shelby Wheatley of Wilmington and Monica Hewett of Durham, who was with her and her family at her passing; and the physicians, nurses, respiratory therapists, physical therapists and other staff members of Duke Hospital, who were inspired by her spirit and determination and were like a second family to her.
During her final hospitalization, she bravely fought against overwhelming lung disease with supreme determination. The medical staff at Duke Hospital fought with heroic efforts to save her. She was loved by the Duke medical staff for her many positive qualities including her sense of humor, sunny disposition, bravery, and engaging personality. Few knew how difficult her life was and how courageously she fought to be able to do the things she wanted to achieve.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. Friday at Family Funeral Care Chapel, Thomasville. Burial will be in Holly Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be 7-9 p.m. tonight at the funeral home and other times at the residence.
