Lexington - Alice Terhune Williams, 76, died April 15, 2000.

C. Creasman
Thomasville - Charles Cecil Creasman, 75, of 214-B Cannon St. died April 17, 2000, at his residence.
He was born Aug. 18, 1924, in Madison County, a son of Oscal Pearson and Addie Ricker Creasman. He retired from Sun Oil Co. and served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was a member of Carolina Memorial Baptist Church, Thomasville Veterans of Foreign War, the Thomasville Moose Lodge and the board of commissioners of Lake Thom-A-Lex. He married Oma Lee Hill Creasman, who preceded him in death in 1989.
Surviving are two sons, Benjy Charles Creasman and Chan Pearson Creasman of Thomasville; a brother, Harold Creasman of Carolina Beach; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Funeral will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Carolina Memorial Baptist Church by the Rev. Stuart White. Burial will be in Holly Hill Memorial Park. Visitation will be 7-9 tonight at J.C. Green & Sons Funeral Home and other times at the residence. The body will be placed in the church 30 minutes prior to the service.

Alton Cummings
Thomasville - Alton William Cummings, 78, of 3001 Ball Park Road, Thomasville, died April 16, 2000, at Community General Hospital.
He was born Jan. 2, 1922, in Surry County, a son of Bessie Cummings Wall, who preceded him in death. He retired from Burlington Industries and was a member of Ashland Street Baptist Church in Archdale. He was married to Gertie Belle Inman Cummings. He was preceded in death by a son, Alton Gray Cummings and a brother, John Wesley 'J.W.' Wall Jr.
Surviving are his wife of the residence; a daughter and son-in-law, Sandra Kay and Bruce Smith of Denton; three sons, and a daughter-in-law, Tommy Ray Cummings of High Point, Donald Lee Cummings of Southmont and Sammy Joe and Candice Cummings of Thomasville; 10 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and four sisters, Hester Bruner of Mount Airy, Bertie Beck of Trinity, Gladys O'Neal of Archdale and Celia Shinault of Ararat.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Pine Hill Friends Meeting, Ararat, by the Rev. Billy Britt, the Rev. Keith Peters, Brother Bill Watson and Sammy Cummings. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be 7-9 tonight at Cox-Needham Funeral Home and Chapel, Pilot Mountain, and other times at the residence on Ball Park Road. The body will be placed in the church 30 minutes prior to the funeral service.
Frank Hanes
Winston-Salem - Frank Oliver Hanes Jr., of 1100 W. 13th St. died April 13, 2000.
Surviving are his brother, Roland J. Hanes and his wife, Linda.
Funeral will be 3:30 today at First Baptist Church, Winston-Salem, by the Rev. Wendell A. Johnson. Burial will be Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be 30 minutes prior to the hour of service at the church. The family may be contacted and the cortege will assemble and leave from the residence at 2:30 p.m. today.

Earl Henderson
Thomasville - Earl Vance Henderson, 56, of Liberty Drive died April 16, 2000, at Community General Hospital following an apparent heart attack.
He was born June 1, 1943, in Kalamazoo, Mich., a son of Ronda Dayton and Glacie Williams Henderson. He was a U.S. Army veteran, having served in Germany and was employed by Orkin Pest Control prior to his disability. He was a loving father, brother and enjoyed golf.
Surviving are his wife, Diane Hardwick Henderson of the residence; two sons, Ronnie Henderson of Seattle, Wash., and Randy Henderson and his wife, Pam, of Asheboro; two stepsons, Billy Wayne Alford and his wife, Shawn, and Larry Joe Alford and his wife, Lisa, both of Thomasville, two brothers, Ed Henderson of High Point and Johnny Henderson of Thomasville; five sisters, Marzelle Henderson of High Point, Carolyn Cagle of Morristown, Tenn., Kathy King of Trinity, Gayle Creel of Thomasville and Rosemarie Frazier of High Point; and three grandchildren, Haley Brooke Henderson of Asheboro, Dillon Wayne Alford and Jessica Rose Alford, both of Thomasville.

Verdon Higgins
Jackson, Ky. - Verdon D. Higgins, 77, died April 17, 2000, at High Point Regional Hospital.
Surviving are his wife, Doris Rampey Higgins of the residence; two daughters, Beth Higgins Renfroe and her husband, Dennis, of High Point and Miss Rebecca Higgins of Russia.
The body will be sent from Cumby Funeral Service to Breathitt Funeral Home in Jackson, Ky., for completion of arrangements.
Mary Johnson
High Point - Mrs. Mary Lois Scott Johnson, 66, of 328 Player Drive died April 17, 2000, at High Point Regional Hospital.
She was born Oct. 22, 1933, in Robeson County, a daughter of Goldie and Martha Locklear Scott, who preceded her in death. She was a resident of High Point most of her life and had been employed by Silver Knit Hosiery Co. for 31 years. She attended the First Church of God. In 1954, she was married to Lucius Johnson, who survives of the residence. She was preceded in death by a son, Lucius 'Sparky' Johnson Nov. 10, 1992; a sister, Mrs. Mazie Scott Turner Jan. 1, 1986; and a brother, Alton Scott Feb. 14, 1990.
Also surviving are a son, Johnny Johnson of High Point; a sister, Mrs. Lillian Scott of High Point; four brothers, the Rev. Goldie 'Pete' Scott and his wife, Theda, and Tommy Dewey Scott, all of Kernersville, Sonny Scott of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., and Lewis Scott and his wife, Delores, of High Point; and three grandchildren, Lauria Marie Johnson, Jonathan Thomas Johnson and Christina Nickle Johnson.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at the chapel of Cumby Family Funeral Service, Archdale, by the Rev. Houston Tilley. Burial will be in Oakwood Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be 7-8:30 tonight at the funeral home.

Wilson - Roy Eugene Keene, 70, of 4111 Evansdale Road died April 16, 2000, at Wilson Memorial Hospital.
Surviving are two daughters, Carla Taylor of Wilson and Patricia Keene of Richmond, Va.; two sons, Ricky Keene of High Point and Michael Keene of Nashville; two sisters, Gray Page and Jean Williams, both of Wilson; three brothers, Charles Keene of Black Creek and Butch and Johnny Keene, both of Wilson; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Shingleton Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. David Barnes. Burial will be in Stantonsburg Cemetery. Visitation will be 7-9 tonight at the home and other times at 5943 W. Baker Road.
Emma McPherson
High Point - Mrs. Emma Voncille Godwin McPherson died April 3, 2000, at SunBridge Care & Rehabilitation for the Triad, where she had made her residence since 1999.
Surviving are five sons, Roy Godwin of Alexander, Va., John Godwin of Shingletown, Calif., James Godwin of Pottersville, Calif., William Godwin of St. Margarite, Calif., and Wiley Godwin of Kings City, Calif.; two daughters, Pat Findley of Las Vegas and Martha Williford, of Yuma, Ariz.; three stepchildren, Charles McPherson and Vickie Tucker, both of High Point and Richard McPherson Jr. of Lakeland, Fla.; 14 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Carson Forbis of Notasulga, Ala., and Lucille Guthrie of Montgomery, Ala.
Memorial service will be 11 a.m. today in Floral Garden Park Cemetery by Lt. Joe May of the Salvation Army.

Curtis Sexton
Ft. Myers, Fla. - Curtis 'Curt' Eugene Sexton, 46, of 8898 Bristol Bend died April 14, 2000, at his residence.
He was born Aug. 9, 1953, in High Point, a son of Lonnie M. and Joanne McCarter Sexton Jr. He had been a resident of Ft. Myers since 1993 and was employed as a senior design illustrator with Bush Furniture Co. He was a 1971 graduate of T. Wingate Andrews High School, attended the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, Chowan University and received his degree in commercial design from GTCC. He served in the North Carolina National Guard and attended Cypress Lake United Methodist Church. He was a member of Muir's Chapel United Methodist Church in Greensboro and a member of the choir. He was preceded in death by his father in 1981.
Surviving are his mother of 3434 Imperial Drive; a sister, Mrs. Tom (Susan) Holden of Raleigh; a brother, Scotty Lee Sexton of 3434 Imperial Drive; two nephews, John Mehdian and Stuart Holden; and two nieces, Katie Holden and Jennifer Sexton.
Funeral will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Muir's Chapel United Methodist Church, 314 Muir's Chapel Road, Greensboro, by the Rev. John W. Kale and the Rev. Carol Williams-Gilbert. Burial will be in Floral Garden Park Cemetery. Visitation will be 7:30-9 p.m. Wednesday at Cumby Family Funeral Service, 1015 Eastchester Drive, and other times at the residence of his mother.

Mayodan - William Davis Bullins, 95, of Washington St. Ext., went to be with the Lord April 19, 2000, at Morehead Nursing Center, Eden.
He was born March 14, 1905, in Patrick County, Va., a son of Henry Clay and Harriet Mabe Bullins, who preceded him in death. He also was preceded in death by his wife, Lucy Manuel Bullins; two brothers, Tom and Russell; and two sisters, Hallie and Nannie.
Surviving are a son, Otis Davis Bullins of Mayodan; three daughters, Elisie Stanley of Stoneville, Phyllis Wray (Alson) of Trinity and Mary Ruth Wilkins (Raymond) of Madison; six grandchildren, Lester Stanley, Debra Honeycutt, Steve Wray, Sandra Wilkins, John Horton, and Eileen Combs; seven great-grandchildren, Kristin Burns, Kelly Burns, Leah Horton, Heather Honeycutt, Allison, Tracy and Nicole Combs; two brothers, Cecil Bullins of Madison and Raymond Bullins of Winston-Salem; and three sisters, Della Flynn of Lexington, Beatrice Woods of Madison and Mary Wright of Rocky Mount, Va.

High Point - Kit J. 'Guy' Coleman, 41, of 1330 Bailey Circle died April 18, 2000, in Savannah, Ga.
He was born May 20, 1958, in Wadesboro, a son of Bobby Lee Coleman and Shirley Jean Reddick. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Ed and Rosa Reddick; and paternal grandparents, Eddie Coleman and Hettie Smith.
Surviving are his mother and father; a brother, Charles Coleman of Columbia, S.C.; a sister, Bobbie Crawford and her husband, Donald, of High Point; a special friend, Sherna Setzer of High Point; and a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Funeral will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Hargett-Gilmore Memorial Chapel by the Rev. Odessa McCoy. Burial will be in Carolina Biblical Gardens. Visitation will be 12:30 to 1 p.m. Saturday at the chapel and other times at the residence.
Helen Fineis
Perry, Ga. - Mrs. Helen Ridge Fineis, 65, of 1510 Kingston Road, died April 18, 2000, at her residence.
She was born in High Point, N.C., a daughter of William B. and Louise Gaskins Ridge who preceded her in death. She has resided in Perry since 1975, moving from Atlanta. She was a legal secretary for Attorney Herb Wells for 22 years. She was a member of St. Patricks Catholic Church.
Surviving are her husband, Lyle A. Fineis of Perry; a daughter, Ruth Ann Blackwell of Atlanta; a son, James L. Fineis of Atlanta; three brothers, David Ridge of Shreveport, La., William Ridge Jr. and Bobby Ridge, both of High Point; a grandson, Robert Blackwell III of Atlanta; and a granddaughter, Katie Blackwell of Atlanta.
Graveside services will be 1 p.m. Friday by Father Tom Murphy in Perry Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 7:30 p.m. with prayer services at 8:15 tonight at Watson-Hunt Funeral Home.

She was born March 23, 1938, in Lilesville, a daughter of Collin and Bertha Ingram, who preceded her in death. She received her education in the Anson County school system and was a retired domestic worker. She was a member of Savannah AME Zion Church. She also was preceded in death by a sister, Clara Autry; three brothers, Melvin Ingram, Roger and Carl Ingram; and a son-in-law, William Green Sr.
Surviving are her husband, Richard Mills Sr.; three sons, Richard Mills Jr. of Mt. Airy, Jasper Williams and Jay Williams of High Point; five daughters, Ms. Sharon Green, Ms. Cynthia Williams, Mrs. Yolanda McKinsey, and Ms. Trina Mills, all of High Point, and Mrs. Angela Chambers of Greensboro; three brothers, C.R. Ingram of High Point, Jabie Wall of Thomasville and Prentis Smith of Winston-Salem; a sister, Vancie L. Ingram of Wadesboro; 12 grandchildren; three dear nieces, Clarion Autry, Tracy Autry and Summer Monk; a special nephew, Carlos Autry; and a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and a special friend, Kathy Procton.
