GOLDSTON - Reid O. Beal, 63, of 574 Beal Road, Goldston, NC died Thursday, Nov. 11, 2004 at his residence.
Mr. Beal was a native of Chatham County. He had worked for Joan's Fabrics.
Funeral service will be held Sunday, Nov. 14, 2004 at 3 p.m. at Antioch Baptist Church, 3825 Bonlee-Carbonton Road, Goldston, NC, conducted by the Rev. Larry Hutchins. Burial will be in the Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery.
Surviving are his wife, Joyce Vaughn Beal of Goldston; two sons: Randy Beal and Marty Beal, both of Goldston; one daughter: Tammy B. Buie and husband, Allen of Vass; his mother: Myrtle McIntosh Beal of Goldston; two brothers: Ray Beal of Siler City and R. G. Beal of Goldston; three sisters: Phyllis B. Gunter, Treva B. Seagroves and Gayle B. Smith, all of Goldston; three grandchildren: Allison Leigh Buie, Brittany Anne Beal and Brandon Dean Beal.
Visitation will be held Saturday, Nov. 13 from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Smith & Buckner Funeral Home in Siler City; and at other times at the family home.

SANFORD - Frances Gross Williams, 59, of Sanford, died Monday (3/31/03) at Convalescent Care of Sanford.
Funeral and visitation have been postponed and a new date and time will be announced by Bridges-Cameron Funeral Home.

LILLINGTON - Wendell "Wendy" Faucett, 47, of Lillington died Wednesday (4/2/03) at Good Hope Hospital in Erwin.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday at O'Quinn-Peebles Chapel by the Rev. Robert Hammond. Burial will be in Westview Memorial Gardens.
He is survived by his wife, Tammy Faucett of Lillington; a son, Drake Faucett of Apex; mother, Addie Faucett of Lillington and a brother, Kim Faucett of Kinston.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at O'Quinn-Peebles Funeral Home and other times at the home of his mother, Addie Faucett.
ROY TUCK
LILLLINGTON - Roy E. Tuck, 74, of Lillington, died Thursday (4/3/03) at Harnett Manor Nursing Home.
He was a U.S. Army veteran. He was a former resident of Bedford, Va.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 6 p.m. Saturday at O'Quinn-Peebles Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday at Updikes Funeral Home in Bedford, Va. and the family will receive friends one hour before the service at the funeral home.
He is survived by a wife, Elizabeth Tuck at home; a son, Nelson Pagans of Lillington; brothers, Marvin Tuck of Bedford, Va., and Ray Tuck of Chester, Va., and three grandchildren.

H. MARSHALL BREWINGTON
SANFORD - H. Marshall Brewington, 81, of 2110 Spring Lane, died Thursday (4/3/03) at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital.
A native of Lee County, he was a son of the late James and Henrietta Douglas Brewington and was an Army veteran of World War II. He was an active member and deacon of the Pittsboro Seventh Day Adventist Church and was owner and operator of Brewington Upholstery. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Pamela Douglas, and was the last surviving child of 13.
Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at Sandhills Veterans Cemetery in Spring Lake by Pastor Terry Clem and Pastor Louis Badenhorst.
He is survived by his wife, Bernice Callender Brewington; daughters, Priscilla Ann Barkley of Hampton, Va., Pearl Brewington, Penelope Brewington, and Phyllis Brewington, all of Montclair, N.J., and Paula Brewington of Pennsylvania; a son, H.M. Brewington Jr. of Riverside, Calif., and 13 grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Fry & Prickett Funeral Home in Carthage and other times at the residence.

RACHEL COMER
CAMERON - Rachel Holder Comer, 73, of 1875 Red Hill Road, died Thursday (4/3/03) at Pinelake Health and Rehabilitation Center in Carthage.
A native of Moore County, she was preceded in death by her father, Idle V. Holder. She worked for the Moore County Clerk of Court, holding various positions, until being elected clerk and serving until her retirement in 1993.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Rocky Fork Christian Church by the Rev. Misty T. Mowrey. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
She is survived by her husband, Richard L. Comer; a daughter, Rhonda Sue Holland of Madison; sons, Richard L. Comer Jr. of Denver, Colo. and Randal V. Comer of Cameron; mother, Mamie Davis Holder of Sanford; sister, Edna Johnson of Sanford and four grandchildren.

FUQUAY-VARINA - Alma Knight Arnold, 84, of Fuquay-Varina, died Thursday (4/3/03).
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Thomas Funeral Home. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
She is survived by sons, Frank Arnold and wife Erma of Holly Springs and Robert Arnold and wife Susan of Durham; a daughter, Dale Arnold of Fuquay-Varina; nine grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

SANFORD - Graveside service for Carl Wicker, 72, of Sanford, who died Monday (3/31/03), was conducted Thursday at Lee Memory Gardens by the Rev. Tony Capehart.
The congregation sang.
Pallbearers were Donnie Wicker, Billy Bryant, Lowell Gunter, Bobby Gunter, Art Coleman and Phil Yarborough III.

PEARL EVA SHERRICK HUDSON
VASS - Pearl Eva Sherrick Hudson, 70, of 107 Johnson St., died Wednesday (4/2/03) at home.
A native of Massachusetts, she was a daughter of the late Lawrence Morton Sherrick and Mae Grace Dickie Sherrick. She was a retired teachers assistant.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Vass Presbyterian Church by the Rev. W.W. Olney and the Rev. Gary Hudson. Burial will be in Johnson Grove cemetery in Vass.
She is survived by her husband, Bobbie C. Hudson at home; a son, Jim Hudson of Vass; daughters, Jan Hudson Hunsucker of Bealeton, Va. and Joan Hudson Collins of Aberdeen; and grandchildren, Maegan Hunsucker, Ryan Hunsucker, Paige Collins, Zach Collins and Brittany Collins.

A homemaker, she was a daughter of the late Henry and Annie Jones Mitchell.
Graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday at Lee Memory Gardens by the Rev. Steve Ray.
Surviving are a son, Robert Henry Lee of Sanford; a daughter, Mary Gibson of Wake Forest; sisters, Ila Seagroves of Cary and Pearl Sikes of New Hill; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Carlie G. Boyd.
