Judy Willard, 55, of 484 Hilltop Road, died March 2, 2003. A funeral service was held at 11 a.m. today at Warlick Funeral Home Chapel. Burial followed in South River Baptist Church Cemetery.
Born in Cleveland County, she was a textile employee.
Survivors include her husband, Dean Willard; two sons, Andy Abernethy and Eddie Abernethy, both of Lincolnton; a daughter, Rhonda A. Morrison of Lincolnton; her father Crawford Lee of Hickory; a brother, Max Lee of Vale; three sisters, Kathy Keller and Joyce Lynn, both of Claremont, and Lillian Stamey of Belwood; and eight grandchildren, Patsy Abernathy, Dustin Abernathy, Cody Abernathy, Holden Abernathy, Sheridan Abernathy, Rocky Morrison, Joshua Morrison and Corey Morrison.

She was formerly employed with the Grover Taylor Store, Cook Department Store, and was the manager of Gold Shoe Store.
Survivors include three brothers, Leonard Taylor of Maiden, Grover Taylor Jr. of Hudson, and Jack Taylor of Gray Court, S.C.; and a sister, Allie Mae Hass of Maiden.

Born in Catawba County, he was a former Johnson Motor Lines truck driver, a U.S. Army WWII veteran, and a member of the American Legion Maiden Post for 50 years.
Survivors include his wife, Patricia McCaslin; a son Allen Dale McCaslin of Maiden; two daughters, Amy Rhinehardt of Maiden and Beth McCaslin of Newton; a sister, Coleen Riddell of Mt. Dora, Fla.; and four grandchildren.

He was born in Shelby.

Born in Bergen County, he was employed with Harold Brasington and helped construct Darlington and Rockingham Speedways and Darlington Drag Strip and was also employed as a foreman with Darlington Veerneer Company.
