Born in Alachua, Fla. he was a minister at Massapoag Baptist Church and a U.S. Army Veteran.
Survivors include his wife Dorothy Kirksey of the home; one daughter, Carol Ann Lambert of Lincolnton; two sisters, Hazel Sherrill of Sherrills Ford and Grace Taylor of Catawba and two grandsons, David Lambert and Michael Lambert.

Survivors include one son, James Lloyd Fuller of Shelby; five daughters, Doris Nixon of Dayton, Ohio, Bernice Haynes of Shelby, Beatrice Sims, Yvonne Sweezy and Birt Lee Maddox all of Lawndale; 23 grandchildren; 58 great-grandchildren and one great great-grandchild.

Naomi “Bun” Ritzy Finger, 91, of 2800 East Highway 27, died June 12, 2003.Funeral services will be at 4 p.m. Sunday at Pilgrim Tabernacle. Burial will follow in Asbury United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends anytime at the residence.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Church of the Nazarene.
