Born in Cleveland County he was a sewing machine mechanic formerly employed by Shelby Seamless, Clevemont Mills and Artex International Inc. He was a member of Casar Baptist Church.
Survivors include one son, Justin King of the home; one daughter, Holly King of the home; one grandson, Jesse Gettys of the home.
