Born in Lincoln County, she was a homemaker and was retired from Knit Products.

KINGS MOUNTAIN — John William “J.W.” Warlick, 77, of 257 Sellers Road, died July 20, 2003. Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. today at Mary’s Grove United Methodist Church, where he was a mmeber. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Born in Cleveland County, he was retired from Margrace Mill as a fixer, served as superintendent of at Mary’s Grove, was a Sunday School teacher, former chairman of the building committee and a member of Cherryville Legion Post 100 and a WWII U.S. Army veteran.
Survivors include his wife, Connie Bridges Warlick of the home; three sons, Mark Warlick and John Warlick both of Cherryville and Jeff Warlick of Lawndale; one daughter, Ellen Dixon of Shelby; one brother, Ray Warlick of Kings Mountain; two sisters, Nettie Wright and Bertie Mae Howell both of Kings Mountain; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
