PARKER, at the advanced age of near ninety years. He was a native of Hertford
county, N.C., and emigrated and settled in Anson (now Union) county, in
his youth, where he raised a large family.

At the same place, on the 21st April 1860, John Caldwell Calhoun, third son of A. and E.A. MORGAN, deceased, in the 5th year of his age. TWITTY, aged 1 year, 11 months, and 13 days...born in Wadesboro, Anson County, N.C., June 24, 1858..July 5, 1860 issue286. Died at Lilesville, Anson County, on the evening of the 27th ult., Dr. Thomas Chambers HALL, in his 32d year... 287. On Tuesday the 26th ult., James Leonidas, second son of M.A.
and M.S. POLK, aged 1 year and 14 days.

In Montgomery county, on the 6th inst., Miss Elizabeth ALLEN, at about the age of ninety years. 305. At his residence in Richmond county, on the 18th inst., in the 56th year of his age, Pleasant M. POWELL, Esq., a well known and respected citizen of Richmond, and a member of the Council of the State of N.C. 306. 10 months and 29 days...a member of the Methodist Church.
