Center., The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Hamilton Funeral Chapel,  
726 S. Tarboro St. Burial will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery.
  Surviving are two brothers, Carse Lucas of Philadelphia and Fate Lucas of  
Washington, D.C.; three grandchildren, Mary Henderson Hoskins, Lawrence  
Henderson and Matthew Lewis Henderson, whom she reared, all of Wilson; and two  
foster daughters, Brenda Jackson and Linda Finch, whom she reared, both of  
Wilson.
  The body may be viewed at the funeral home today from 3-9 p.m. The family will  
receive friends at the residence and will assemble there one hour before the  
funeral.

Moose Lodge.

Wednesday at Pitt County Memorial Hospital, Greenville. The funeral will be  
conducted by the Rev. Bruce Jones and the Rev. Ronnie Hobgood at 2 p.m. Friday  
at Farmville Funeral Home Church Street Chapel. Burial will follow in Crestlawn  
Memorial Gardens near Farmville.
  Tugwell was a member of King’s Cross Roads Free Will Baptist Church and was a  
U.S Army veteran of World War II.
  Surviving are his wife, Geneva Tugwell; one daughter, Kathryne Price of  
Fountain; three sons, Steve Tugwell and Ricky Tugwell, both of Fountain, and  
Walter Lee Tugwell Jr. of Farmville; and seven grandchildren.

Baptist Church and the Grace-Winsome Sunday School Class, she was also a member  
of the N.C. Retired Teachers Association, the National Education Association and  
a laureate member of Beta sigma Phi.

  Hadley worked in the pathology department of Wilson Memorial Hospital from

  She was a member of Bethel Christian Church where she was the musician for  
over 50 years.

  WALSTONBURG — Robert Allen Britt, 77, died Sunday at Britthaven of Smithfield.  
The funeral will be held at 7:30 tonight at Taylor-Edwards Funeral Home, Snow  
Hill. Burial with full military honors will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday in Snow Hill  
Cemetery.
  Britt was a disabled veteran of World War II having served in the United  
States Army. He was a member of Free Union Free Will Baptist Church, the  
Walstonburg American Legion and the Snow Hill Veterans of Foreign Wars.
  Surviving are his wife, Litha Mae Shirley Britt; a daughter, Trudy Britt Hardy  
of Snow Hill; a sister, Idelle Sutton of Grantham; five grandchildren; and six  
great-grandchildren.
