Margaret Elizabeth Booth Lamm

Margaret Booth Lamm, age 89, of Roxboro, passed away September 11, 2015 at Roxboro Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center.
Mrs. Lamm was born at Castolia, NC in Nash County. She was the daughter of the late Ashley Gray Booth and Gertrude Harper Booth. She was preceded in death by her husband, The Rev. Hassell Lamm, Sr.; one son, Hassell Lamm, Jr. (Hal); three brothers: Aucey Gray Booth, John Joseph Booth, and James Ronald Booth; two sisters: Virginia Irene Booth Webb and Marceline Mae Booth Howard.
She is survived by her son, Thomas Booth Lamm; daughter, Carol Lamm Siebert, both of Roxboro; two grandsons, Benjamin Thomas Lamm (wife Michelle) of Henry, VA, and Paul Anthony Siebert, of Chapel Hill; two great-grandchildren, Levi Benjamin Lamm and Josey Lamm; one sister, Nancy Jane Booth Gupton, of Castolia.
Mrs. Lamm graduated from Castolia High School. She also went to Louisburg College for one year where she received a secretarial certificate.
She worked as a Teacher Assistant for twenty-one years, two years at Mt. Tirzah School and nineteen years at South Elementary School, while also driving a school bus.
Mrs. Lamm was a charter member of Westwood Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School and was WMU Director. She was very active in and served as WMU Director for The Beulah Baptist Association.
Funeral Service will be held 3:00 PM Sunday, September 13, 2015 at Westwood Baptist Church by the Rev. Gerald Hodges, the Rev. Ken Childers, and the Rev. Jonathan Taylor. Burial will follow in Person Memorial Cemetery.
The family will receive visitors from 2:00-3:00 PM Sunday, September 13, 2015 prior to the service.
Pallbearers will be Carroll Williams, Ralph Watson, Mark Blalock, Woody Painter, Harold Lamm, Jimmy Lamm, and Gary White.

Dahlia Moye Tatum Crim

TIMBERLAKE - Dahlia Moye Tatum Crim, 93, of 2550 Holeman-Ashley Road died Thursday, August 13, 2015. She was born in Durham County to the late Emmett and Viola Yates Tatum. Mrs. Crim was also preceded in death by her husband, Roger Cleo Crim; one brother, Burnice Tatum; and one sister, Sylvia Cheek. She was a retired secretary with the Army research office and a member of Berry's Grove Baptist Church.
Surviving is one daughter, LuAnn Crim Thomas and husband Jim, of Timberlake; one step-son, Keith Crim and wife Vickey, of Durham; one brother, William Tatum and wife Inez, of Durham; four grandchildren, Chad Hicks (Shana), Chase Hicks (Anthony), Mischka Stoddard, and Mona Soulon; three great-grandchildren, Coby Hicks, Audrey Stoddard, and Robert Stoddard; three step great-grandchildren, Nevaeh Koretz, Alexis Koretz, and Zoey Koretz; and one honorary granddaughter, Linda Shephard.
Memorial services will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, September 12, 2015 at Bethlehem Presbyterian Church by Pastor David Crow.

Mariah Simona Robinson

Timberlake - Mariah Simona Robinson- October 12, 1994-September 4, 2015
Mariah Simona Robinson departed this world on September 4, 2015, when she went from the arms of her loving parents into the arms of her Heavenly Father.
Mariah was born on October 12, 1994, in Austin TX to Gary and Tricia Robinson. She entered into this world a fighter and she never stopped fighting for each precious day. She was not expected to survive past a few months but she went on to live her life being our greatest gift and teacher. Mariah was our angel on earth, with a pure soul and love for everyone, and we were blessed to have her in our lives. She will always be remembered and will live on in our hearts forever.
Her smile was able to touch so many people’s lives with her ability to radiate love and strength with her beautiful smile. Special thanks to Duke PICU team, you always treated the Robinson’s like family and we truly were honored that you were part of her life. Thank you to Bayada Pediatric Nursing of Durham, NC. We were allowed to have Mariah at home during her last year on earth with their support.
Mariah is survived by her loving parents, Gary and Tricia Robinson of Timberlake NC, her brother Chance Robinson, sister Alexandra Robinson, her paternal grandmother Lillian Robinson of Evansville, IN, and maternal grandmother Martha Walters of La Luz NM.
She was predeceased by both of her grandfathers; Winfred (Boots) Robinson of Portales NM, and James Walters of La Luz, NM.
With Mariah’s passing she reminds us that life is to be celebrated, and we will honor and celebrate her life with a memorial service on September 12th at 2pm at St. Mary and Edwards Catholic Church, 615 N Main St, Roxboro, NC 27573.

Carol Ann Gilbert Chisenhall

Carol Ann Gilbert Chisenhall, 55, of 2830 Dick Holeman Road passed away Wednesday, August 5, 2015 at her home after a long battle with a rare lung cancer. Carol's optimism and courage in fighting her cancer inspired all who knew her. She was born in Durham County to the late Jack and Mary McBroom Gilbert. Mrs. Chisenhall graduated from Northern High School in Durham in 1977. She was a teacher's assistant at Helena Elementary School and was a member of Gateway Baptist Church. One of her favorite pastimes was traveling to Emerald Isle with family and friends.
She is survived by her husband of 35 years, Ray Chisenhall, of the home; one daughter, Heather Jackson and husband Josh, of Timberlake; two brothers, Larry Gilbert and wife Beth, of Timberlake and Kenneth Gilbert and wife Pam, of Chase City, VA; and one granddaughter, Annistyn Leigh Jackson.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Friday, August 7, 2015 at Gateway Baptist Church by Rev. Phillip Adams. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
Pallbearers will be Billy Gardner, Landon Carver, Derek Carver, Brad Milam, Sterling Gilbert, and Kyle Gilbert.

David Yarborough Pulliam

David Yarborough Pulliam, 89, of 678 Hillsborough Rd., Timberlake, died Friday, August 14, 2015 at his home. Born in Person County, Mr. Pulliam was the son of the late Johnny William (J.W.) and Jessie Gravitte Pulliam. Mr. Pulliam served in the US Navy during WWII and was of the Baptist faith. He was a part owner of Pulliam's Texaco and Pulliam's Exxon in Roxboro for 33 years.
Mr. Pulliam is survived by his wife of 63 years, Lucille Blalock Pulliam; three daughters and their husbands, Ann P. and Russ Gregory, of Bolivia, Sharon P. and Jonathan Webb and Sue P. and Kevin Gaines, all of Timberlake; one brother, Maynard Pulliam and wife Gladys, of Roxboro; five grandchildren, Scott Russell and wife Kendra, Todd Robinson and wife Kathy, Derek Robinson and wife Michelle, Kasey Gaines and Samantha Gaines; four great-grandchildren, Nolan Robinson, Emily Robinson, Jeffrey Russell and Alex Robinson.
Graveside services will be held 2 PM, Sunday, August 16, 2015, at Aiken Blalock Family Cemetery by the Rev. Brian Hager and the Dr. M. David Chambers. Visitation will be held 6-7:30 PM Saturday at the Brooks & White Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Scott Russell, Todd Robinson, Derek Robinson, Tony Blalock, Barry Blalock, Mike Blalock, Jerry Blalock and Joe Riley.
Victoria "Vikki" Kerr Rimmer Cates

Victoria "Vikki" Rimmer Cates age 68 of 40 Parsons Chase Lane died Friday at her home. She was born in Person County to the late Willard Kerr Rimmer and Ruby Jones Rimmer. Her brother, Donnie preceded her in death. Vikki was a member of Berry's Grove Baptist Church. She was a devoted grandmother and nanny and she loved "All" of her children. Vikki's 2nd passion was watching Tarheel Basketball and will forever be a true Tarheel.
Surviving is her son, Patrick and his wife Diane of Hillsborough, her granddaughter, Lauren Cates; and three sisters, Jean Featherston of Roxboro, Billie Anderson of Salt Lake City, UT, and Jessica Lee of Garner.
A memorial service will be held 7 PM Tuesday, July 21, 2015 at Brooks and White Chapel with Mr. Mike Moose officiating.
