She was a native of Moore County, the widow of Robert Morgan and a former co-owner of Norman General Merchandise.
Surviving are sons, Kenneth Morgan of Aberdeen, George Morgan of Concord; brothers, Roger Byrd of Chapperal, N.M., Edward Byrd, Bobby Byrd, both of Norman; sisters, Margaret Rush of Norman, Betty Robinson of Carthage, Shirley Thompson of Biscoe; six grandchildren; two great-granddaughters.

He was a native of Fall River, Mass., the widower of Pearl K. Motley St. John, a retired master sergeant with the U.S. Army, where he graduated from the first class of the Green Berets, and later worked for the Fayetteville Publishing Co. and as a locksmith.
Surviving are son, Michael L. St. John of Asheboro; sisters, Leah Toy, Helen Ward, both of Charlotte, Rita Hart of Fall River, Mass.; four grandchildren.

He was a native of Elizabethtown, attended Wake Forest University and graduated from Gupton-Jones in Nashville, Tenn. He was a former funeral director/owner in Clarkton and Tabor City, later in textile sales and became Southeastern regional sales manager for Chadbourn Hosiery, Charlotte. He is a former Rotarian, Mason and member of Golden K and was a volunteer for Hospice of Randolph and other community organizations.
