Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Star Pentecostal Holiness Church, with the Rev. Philip Staton officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
She was a native of Richmond County, the widow of Hubert P. Simmons and was retired from the finishing department of Sandhill Furniture Co.
Surviving are son, Robert Spivey of Fayetteville; brothers, Robert Campbell of Ether, Bernie Campbell of Asheboro; sister, Doris Coble of Seagrove; one grandchild; two great-grandchildren.

Joseph Benson "J.B." Sink, 70, of 717 Uwharrie St., Asheboro, died Wednesday, Feb. 4, 1998, at Randolph Hospital.
A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Cross Road Baptist Church, where he was a member, with the Rev. Ron Greene and the Rev. Mark Sink officiating.
He was a native of Randolph County, a World War II U.S. Navy veteran, worked in the automotive industry for over 50 years and was a member of the "The Friendly Voices" Quartet, "Kingsway" Quartet and founder and 50 year member of "The Carolinians" Quartet. He organized singings in local restaurants and was a member of the Civitans where he was a former president.
Surviving are wife, Margie Boone Sink; sons, Mark Benson Sink of Thomasville, Timothy R. Sink of Asheboro; daughter, Donna Sink Allen of Asheboro; sisters, Ellie Voncannon, Edna Voncannon, both of Asheboro; seven grandchildren.
The family will be at the church following the service until 4:30 p.m. Saturday, other times at the home.

He was a native of Ether, a World War II U.S. Army veteran, was retired from Burlington Mills and was a member of Asheboro Chapter 22 of the Disabled American Veterans.

Lea.
