She was a native of Chatham County, a member of Fall Creek Baptist Church and a retired poultry farmer.
Surviving are son, Terry Wilson of Bennett; goddaughter, Brenda Edwards of Siler City, whom Mrs. Wilson had raised; sister, Sadie Phillips of Bennett; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.

She was a native of Stewart, Va., and the widow of W.I. "Bill" Draughn.
Surviving are sons, James William Draughn, Douglas R. Draughn, Roy Draughn, all of Asheboro; sisters, Minnie Handy, Annie Shaw, both of Asheboro, Beda Whitlow of Richmond, Va.; 10 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren.

He was a World War II veteran of the Army Air Force and a trustee and member of the Cemetery Committee at his church.
Surviving are wife, Hazel Brooks of the home; sons, Roland D. Brooks of Greensboro, James Rogerdale Brooks of the home, Larry S. Brooks of Bear Creek and Robert L. Headen of Pittsboro; daughters, Stella Burnette of Siler City and Eva H. Glen of Greensboro; brothers, Fletcher Brooks and Robert L.
