Surviving are wife, Juanita Miller Comer; son, Robert Comer of Fallbrook, Calif.; brother, Causey E. Comer of Brooksville, Fla.; sister, Jewell Beane of Asheboro.

NORRISTOWN, Pa. - Nina Freeman Lee, 87, of 1520 Stanbridge St., died Sunday, May 2, 1999, at Artman Home in Ambler, Pa.
Memorial service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Shady Grove Christian Church in Seagrove with the Rev. Jeff Freeman and the Rev. Tracy Ritter. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
She was a native of Montgomery County and a nurse's aide for Norristown State Hospital.
Surviving are sons, Douglas Lee of Norristown, Pa., Otis Bennett Lee of California, Charles Lee of Huntington, Pa., and Elwood Lee of Belle Fonte, Pa.; daughter, Linda Jacobe of Collegeville, Pa.; sisters, Mary Posey and Nell Hicks, both of Randleman, Alese Cole of Asheboro and Alice O. Jackson of Pleasant Garden; brothers, Barna Freeman, Raymond Freeman and Talmadge Freeman, all of Randleman; 10 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.

CARTHAGE - Vernon C. Oldham, 76, of Putnam-Glendon Road, died Saturday, May 8, 1999, at his home.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Monday at Putnam Friends Church with the Rev. Ernest Moore, Rev. Billy Joe Brady and Rev. D.L. Hussey officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Surviving are daughters, Brenda Upchurch of Highfalls and Gail Oldham-Allmon and Pam O. Brady, both of Carthage; sister, Susie O. Stutts of Robbins; brothers, Jessie Oldham and Kelly Oldham, both of Carthage, and Pete Oldham of Glendon; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.

SOUTHERN PINES - Hallie Craven Reaves, 86, died Thursday, May 6, 1999, at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Southern Pines United Methodist Church with Dr. Mark Wethington officiating. Burial with Masonic rites will be 5 p.m. in Oaklawn Cemetery in Asheboro.
He was a graduate of the University of North Carolina with a degree in pharmacy, owner and operator of Reaves Walgreen Agency Drug Store in Asheboro for 22 years, founder of the Medical Center Pharmacy in Pinehurst, a Shriner and a charter member of Asheboro Masonic Lodge 699.
Surviving are sons, Hallie C. Reaves Jr. of Pinehurst and Williams Reaves of Seven Lakes; daughters, Susan R. Cooper of Southern Pines and Nancy Crissman of Conyers, Ga.; 11 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
The family will be at the church following the service.

Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Rodgers Park Baptist Church, Kannapolis, with the Rev. Tony S. Fox officiating. Burial will be 4 p.m. at Oak Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery, Manning, S.C.
He was employed by Southern Irrigation as a site superintendent, was a U.S. Navy veteran of Vietnam, where he was awarded the Purple Heart and was a member of Blackmer Masonic Lodge of Mt. GIlead and the Scottish Rite Bodies of Charlotte. He was formerly a police officer in Concord and Mt. Gilead and a deputy with the Montgomery County Sheriff's Department.
Surviving are wife, Reta Burgess Lee of the home; daughter, Tara Michelle Lee of the home; mother, Runette "Bee" Lee of Concord; brother, William Lee of Concord; sister, Maryann L. Bruton of Salisbury, Md.
