Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Bethany Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church, where she was a member, with the Rev. Tony Moore officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
She was a native of Pender County, the widow of R.B. Hope and a homemaker.
Surviving are daughter, Christine Smith of Clinton; son, Robert Hope of Asheboro; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.

Inez S. Bulla
Inez Strader Bulla, 91, formerly of Asheboro, died Saturday, Oct. 23, 1999, at Cheraw, S.C.
Funeral service will be 4 p.m. Sunday at Pugh Funeral Home in Asheboro, with the Rev. David Baxter officiating. Burial will be in Oaklawn Cemetery.
She was a native of Randolph County, the widow of Jack B. Bulla, a graduate of High Point College and a former school teacher with the Randolph County Public Schools. She was a homemaker and a member of Central United Methodist Church where she was a member of the Friendly Sunday School Class.
Surviving are daughter, Martha B. Griggs of Cheraw, S.C.; son, Jeff D. Bulla II, M.D. of Graham; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
The family will be at the funeral home 3-4 p.m. Sunday.

Lucinda Irene Southern Cranford, 83, of 230 E. Presnell St., Asheboro, died Friday, Oct. 22, 1999, at Randolph Hospital.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Monday at Ridge Funeral Home in Asheboro, with the Rev. G.W. Stalvey, the Rev. Mark Donovan and the Rev. Ray Swaney officiating. Burial will be in Flint Hill Church of God Cemetery.
She was a native of Stokes County, a member of Flint Hill Church of God, was retired from Becky's Hand Bag and worked at the Senior Adults Association Salt Box.
Surviving are husband, J. Elton Cranford of Asheboro; sons, Henry "H.A." Cranford of Climax, David Cranford, James Cranford, Lonnie Cranford, Roy Cranford and Rex Cranford, all of Asheboro, Robert Cranford of Havelock; 15 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.

He was a native of Randolph County, a World War II U.S. Army Air Force veteran, retired from Stevens Graphics and retired from J.P. Stevens after over 35 years.

He was a POW of World War II where he received a Purple Heart and a Bronze Star.

He was a native of Greenwood, S.C., a 1933 graduate of Clemson University with a BS in dairy science and was a World War II U.S. Army veteran. He operated Maple Grove Dairy in Asheboro until his retirement in 1965, was an elder, deacon and a member of the choir at his church, a former President of the Asheboro Chamber of Commerce and a member of the Asheboro Rotary Club where he was named a Paul Harris Fellow.
Surviving are wife, Elizabeth B. McKellar; son, Richard A. McKellar of Wilson.
