She was a native of Guilford County and retired from Commonwealth Hosiery.

Mary Ennis Souther Johnston, 91, of 1334 Iron Mountain Road, Asheboro, died Monday, Nov. 8, 1999, at her home.
Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Spoons Chapel United Church of Christ, where she was a member, with the Rev. Larry W. McEntire officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
She was a native of Wilkes County, the widow of James Roosevelt Johnston and a homemaker.
Surviving are daughter, Mary L. Humble of Asheboro; son, James "Jim" Johnston of Asheboro; brother, James Mansfield Souther of Wilkesboro; sisters, Ruby Pendergrass of Wilkesboro, Bertie Smithy of North Wilkesboro; seven grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; four stepgreat-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be noon Friday at St. Martin DePorres in Hammonton, N.J. Burial will be in Holy Sepulcher Cemetery, Hammonton, N.J.
He was a native of Hammonton, N.J., a retired garment worker and member of the United Ladies Garment Workers' Union, a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Asheboro and was a World War II U.S. Air Force veteran.
Surviving are wife, Nancy White Saia of Asheboro; daughters, Sandra Rivell of Salem, N.J., Vickie L. Tomasco of Hammonton, N.J.; sons, Donald Albert Saia of Albuquerque, N.M., Joseph B. Saia of Asheboro; brother, Frank Saia of Hammonton, N.J.; eight grandchildren.

Angela Moore Trogdon, 40, of 301 Armfield Ave., Asheboro, died Tuesday, Nov. 9,1999, in Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital, Greensboro.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Smyrna United Methodist Church, Robbins, where she was a member, with the Rev. Joe Forbes and the Rev. J.R. Tatum officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
She was a native of Moore County, a graduate of Greensboro College with a BS in Special Education, and of Appalachian State University with a Master's degree in Reading and Adult Literacy. She was the Basic Skills Director at Guilford Technical Community College and at Randolph Community College for 13 years. She was a Sunday School teacher at her church, a former teacher at Eastern Randolph High School, and the 1995 chapter Woman of the Year of the Mid Day Professionals chapter of the American Business Women's Association in Asheboro.
Surviving are husband, Rodney D. Trogdon of the home; parents, Jeanette and Coleman Moore of Seagrove.

She was a native of Guilford County, retired from Influential Hosiery Company, had worked 50 years in hosiery mills and was a member oF Westchester Baptist Church.

She was a native of Rutherford County, the widow of J.B. Hamrick, attended Appalachian State University, was a member of Siler City Presbyterian Church and was retired from Siler City Monument Company where she was owner/operator.
Surviving are sons, Rodger Hamrick and Paul Hamrick, both of Siler City; daughters, Johnna Hamrick of Chapel Hill, Julie Hamrick of Sanford; mother, Corinne B. Bostic of Forest City; sister, Sandra B. Gravitte of Greensboro; three grandchildren.
