Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at South Fork Friends Church, Snow Camp, where he was a member, with the Rev. Jon Reece officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
He was a native of Lagrange, a U.S. Air Force veteran of the Korean Conflict and retired from the N.C. Department of Transportation.
Surviving are wife, Margaret Johnson Sauls of Siler City; daughters, Bonnie Conner of Kinston, Merry Christmas Sauls of Siler City; stepdaughters, Linda Beal of Lexington, Dottie Ward of Graham; stepson, Van Johnson of Graham; 11 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.

EAGLE SPRINGS - Amanda Luella Brown Williams, 94, of 148 Ernest Road, died Sunday, Nov. 14, 1999, at Pinehurst Nursing Center, Pinehurst.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Brown's Chapel Christian Church, where she was a member, with the Rev. Jimmie Caviness, the Rev. Ralph Voncannon and the Rev. John Powell officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
She was a native of Moore County and a homemaker.
Surviving are sons, George Wilburn Williams and William Jerry Williams, both of Eagle Springs; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.

She was a native of Chatham County, the widow of C. Kermit Ellington and a former Sunday School teacher at her church.
Surviving are sons, Terrill Ellington, Wayne Ellington and Ricky Ellington, all of Siler City, Jimmy Ellington of Staley, Steve Ellington of Robbins; daughter, Vernelta Clark of Asheboro; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.

KERNERSVILLE - James Ronald Pritchard, 60, of Bradford Village, Kernersville, died Sunday, Nov. 14, 1999, at Forsyth Medical Center, Winston-Salem.
Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Hayworth-Miller Funeral Home, Winston-Salem, with the Rev. Robert Hutchens and the Rev. Ron Groce officiating. Burial will be in Oaklawn Memorial Gardens.
He was a native of Randolph County, the widower of Joan Graves Pritchard, a heavy equipment hauler for Spaugh Concrete, Hoots Concrete and L. A. Reynolds Landscaping and was a member of Hane Baptist Church.
Surviving are son, James Alan Pritchard of Winston-Salem; daughters, Ruth Ann P. Siebert of Winston-Salem, Donna Long of Walkertown; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be 3 p.m. Wednesday at C.C. Hodges Funeral Service, Asheboro, with the Rev. William Goins officiating. Burial will be in Lambert Chapel Church Cemetery, Siler City.
She was a native of Randolph County.

She was a native of Randolph County and worked for SCI Systems in Graham.

He was a native of Montgomery County, a U.S. Army veteran, a 1939 graduate of Peabody Academy and retired from McRae Shoe Industries. He was a deacon at his church, chairman of the deacon board, a Sunday School teacher, church treasurer and a member of the finance committee and the Little Pee Dee Baptist Association.
Surviving his wife, Odessa Crawford Bowden of the home; son, Callie J. Bowden Jr. of Berenfield, N.J.; daughters, Ethelrine Hester of Greensboro, Thelma Garrett of Kernersville, Dorothy Kee of Charlotte, Cynthia Blackwell of Willow Springs; brother, Freddie Bowden of Greensboro; l0 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
