He was a native of Chatham County and employed by Pike & Hill Well Drilling Company.

He was a native of Randolph County.

She was a native of Seagrove, a retired lab assistant with Eveready Battery, former organist for her church and for First Baptist Church of Seagrove.

She was a native of Asheboro and worked as a sales clerk for Laura B's clothing store in Little Falls and St. Cloud for 20 years.

She was a native ot Montgomery County, the widow of Wayman Cole, a member of Suggs Creek Primitive Baptist Church, a 1927 graduate of the Georgia-Carolina School of Commerce and retired from J.B. Cole Pottery after 26 years.
Surviving is son, William Cole of the home.

Emery Clinton Loflin, 85, of 615 E. Salisbury St., Asheboro, died Sunday, Dec. 5, 1999, at Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital, Greensboro.
Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at First United Methodist Church, where he was a member, with Dr. Boyd Stokes officiating. Burial will be in Randolph Memorial Park.
He was a native of Farmer, the widower of Mary Prevost Loflin and attended Farmer School. He was a former partner in W & L Supermarket on North Fayetteville Street, served on the Asheboro City Council for six years and was a volunteer fireman and then a full-time employee of the Asheboro Fire Department.
Surviving are sons, Whitman P. Loflin of Wilkesboro, Aaron W. Loflin of Durham; sister, Exie Kearns of Asheboro; brothers, Odell Loflin and Elmer Loflin, both of Denton, Cleamon Loflin of Asheboro; one grandson.

He was a native of Guilford County, a retired employee of Thornton Knitting Co., a World War II U.S. Army veteran and a recipient of the Purple Heart and was a teacher of the Adult Men's Sunday School Class and a deacon at his church.

He was a native of Montgomery County, a World War II U.S. Navy veteran and a retired maintenance engineer of 20 years with Collins & Aikman of Troy.
