Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Ridge Funeral Home, Asheboro, with the Rev. George McDowell officiating. Burial will be in Randolph Memorial Park.
She was a native of Stanly County, the widow of W.B. Lee and was retired from Bossong Hosiery.
Surviving are sisters, Joyce Lineberry and Faye McIntyre, both of Asheboro, Florence Underwood, Ruby Smith, Bobbie Smith, and Elsie Burris, all of Albemarle, Hazeline Herrin of Charlotte, Delores Underwood of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.; brother, Ray Poplin of Marshville.

Gladis Hurley "Buddy" Matthews, 81, of 406 Glovinia St., Asheboro, died Friday, Dec. 31, 1999, at Randolph Hospital.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Monday at Ridge Funeral Home, Asheboro, with the Rev. Barney Trogdon officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
He was a native of Randolph County, the widower of Maybell Matthews, was retired from Ridge Funeral Home after 55 years and was the last living member of the Grand United Odd Fellows Lodge of Asheboro.
Surviving are daughter, Dianne M. Brown of Asheboro; son, Wilbert Matthews of Sedalia; brother, Joe Matthews of Asheboro; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.

HIGH POINT - Webster Lloyd Whitlow, 90, formerly of 1011 Asheboro St., died Friday, Dec. 31, 1999, at Westwood Health and Rehabilitation Center.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Sunday at High Point Friends Meeting, where he was a member, with the Rev. David W. Kingrey, the Rev. Randall A. Quate, the Rev. Benjamin A. Hurley, and Rev. Victor Murchison officiating. Burial will be in Springfield Friends Meeting Cemetery.
He was a native of High Point, the widower of Kathleen Hicks Whitlow, a retired employee of Amos Hosiery Mill Inc. and a member of the Brotherhood Class and the Junior Order United American Mechanics. He was formerly active with the Boys Club, United Way and American Children's Home of Lexington.
Surviving are daughters, Wanda Hinshaw and Anita Turner, both of High Point, Doris Riehs of Archdale, Patsy Wilson of Asheboro, Phyllis Cockman of Randleman; 27 grandchildren; 41 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.

He was retired after 60 years with Ingram-McAuley Hardware Store and Funeral Home, the widower of Hattie Carter Ingram, was a charter member of Mt. Gilead Civitan Club and served on the Mt. Gilead Town Board and Montgomery County Board of Education.
Surviving are daughter, Ann I. Kirk of Mt. Gilead; sons, James Edgar "Buck" Ingram of Mt. Gilead, John Carter Ingram of Greensboro; sister, Mary Anna Covington of Rockingham; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
