Funeral service will be 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at Gray's Chapel United Methodist Church, where he was a member, with the Rev. Bart W. Milleson and Wade Craven officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery with military honors.
He was a native of Randleman, Korean War U.S. Army veteran and a retired employee of J.P. Stevens, Randleman and Dominion Yarn, Burlington.
Surviving are wife, Ida Lineberry Brown of Randleman; son, Greg R. Brown of Randleman; daughter, Lisa B. Wright of Ramseur; brothers, J.M. Brown, Bill G. Brown, both of Randleman; four grandchildren.

Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at New Salem United Methodist Church, where she was a member, with the Rev. Michael Swofford officiating. A graveside service will be 3 p.m. Wednesday at Richmond Memorial Park, Rockingham.
She was the widow of William Franklin Bethune.
Surviving are daughters, Joyce Campbell of Randleman, Ann Siler of Greensboro, Janice B. Huffman of Winston-Salem; son, William Edward Bethune of Charlotte; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.

He was a native of Stuart, Va., retired farmer, World War II U.S. Army veteran and a member of Sophia Baptist Church.
