Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Crestview Wesleyan Church, where she was a member, with the Rev. Alvin Brooks officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Grove UMC Cemetery in Lexington.
She was a native of Randolph County, the widow of John W. Moore and a member of the Ladies Mission Society.
Surviving are daughters, Vera Chisholm, Sue Newlin, Ruth Cranford, all of Asheboro; son, Wayne Moore of Asheboro; stepdaughters, Levitus Beane and Beulah Owens, both of Asheboro; stepson, John W. Moore Jr. of Asheboro; sisters, Atrice Foust and Lillian Venable, both of Asheboro, Hazel Latz of Michigan; brothers, Alvin Connor of Asheboro, Homer Connor of Michigan; eight grandchildren; five stepgrandchildren; two great-grandchildren; eight stepgreat-grandchildren.

RAMSEUR - Delena Stout Wright, 88, of Willie Wright Road, died Tuesday, Jan. 4, 2000, at Britthaven Nursing Home, Raleigh.
Funeral service will be 3 p.m. Thursday at Loflin Funeral Home, Ramseur, with the Rev. Ricky Sessoms officiating. Burial will be in Concord United Methodist Church Cemetery.
She was a native of Randolph County, the widow of William Jerry Wright, a homemaker, a dairy farmer and a member of Concord United Methodist Church.
Surviving are daughters, Martha W. Fearrington of Raleigh, Mary Ann W. Craven of Greenville, S.C., Julia W. Way of Gibsonville; sisters, Norva Paisley of Asheboro, Jewel Brown of Ramseur; eight grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren.

STALEY - Robert Eugene Hicks, 79, of South Main Street, died Tuesday, Jan. 4, 2000, at Sunbridge Care & Rehab. for Siler City.
Graveside service will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Staley Cemetery, with the Rev. Bruce Brown and the Rev. Scott Faw officiating.
He was a native of Randolph County, a retired auto mechanic, a World War II U.S. Army veteran and a member of Moon's Chapel Baptist Church.
Surviving are son, Ronnie Hicks of Seagrove; sisters, Betty Brown of Staley, Dorothy Doss of Asheboro; one grandson; two great-grandchildren.
The family will be at the home of the son, 1923 Upper Road, Seagrove, from 6-9 p.m. Wednesday.

She was a native of Scotland County and was an employee of Candor Hosiery Company.

He was a U.S. Air Force veteran of the Korean War and retired from NOAA in Beaufort as an administrative officer after 25 years.

She was a native of Randolph County, retired from J.P. Stevens Co., the widow of John W. Pugh and was associated with Pugh Funeral Home. She was a charter member of the Randleman Woman's Club and served on the Randleman Library Board.
Surviving are daughter, Betsy P. Summey of Wrightsville Beach; son, John Wesley Pugh Jr. of Columbus, Ind.; sister, Elizabeth R. Guthrie of Asheboro; brother, Thomas J. Redding of Trinity; three grandchildren.
