Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Evans Chapel A.M.E. Zion Church, where he was a member.
Surviving are wife, Barbara Johnson Green of the home; sons, Howard Green of Liberty, Roger Green of Greensboro; daughter, Kay G. Scott of Richmond, Va.; brothers, Garland Green, Johnnie Green and Dean Green, all of Pittsboro; eight grandchildren; one great-granddaughter.
The family will be at the church 7-8 p.m. Tuesday.

TROY - Quinton Little, 2, of 203 Hanover St., died Sunday, Jan. 30, 2000, at his home after a house fire.
Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at McKeithan Funeral Home, Mt. Gilead.
He was a native of Pinehurst.
Surviving are parents, Mitch Little and Teresa Ann Stanback; grandparents, Issac Stanback, Connie Stanback and Elaine Little, all of Mt. Gilead; great-grandmothers, Ida Mae Lilly and Chero Little, both of Mt. Gilead.
There will be no visitation.

TROY - Stephon R. Stanback, 5, of 203 Hanover St., died Sunday, Jan. 30, 2000, at his home after a house fire.

He was a native of Pinehurst.

TROY - Bobby Harold Smith, 60, of 477 Shiloh Road, died Friday, Jan. 28, 2000, at UNC Hospitals, Chapel Hill.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Hartsell Funeral Home, Albemarle, with the Rev. Billy Dennis officiating. Burial will be in Liberty Hill Baptist Church Cemetery, Mt. Gilead.
He was a native of Montgomery County, a floral designer at Harwood Florist, a member of Liberty Hill Baptist Church and a member of the Uwharrie Players and the Montgomery Players.
The family will be at the funeral home 12:30-2 p.m. Wednesday.
Winnie B. McNeil
CANDOR - Winnie Bell Freeman McNeil, 94, of 115 Morgan St., died Friday, Jan. 28, 2000, at St. Joseph of the Pines Health Care Facility, Southern Pines.
Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at Briggs-Candor Funeral Home, Candor, with the Rev. Doug Kennedy officiating. Burial will be in Bear Branch Cemetery in Richmond County.
She was a native of Montgomery County, the widow of Alvin Lewis McNeil, a member of Candor Baptist Church and had retired from Russell Hosiery mill.
Surviving are daughters, Mara Belle Horner of Carthage, Julia Shore of Denton; sister, Catherine Saunders of Troy; 10 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren.

She was a native of Guilford County, a member of Eagle Springs Baptist Church where she was a former Bible school teacher and was retired from Candor Hosiery.
Surviving are husband, Harvey I. Williams of the home; sons, James Jones of Jamestown, Ray Jones of High Point, Shane Jones of Trinity; one grandchild.

He was a native of Richmond County and a retired employee of Milliken Co. in Robbins.

She was a native of Montgomery County, a graduate of Guilford College and a homemaker.

She was a native of Montgomery County and the widow of Huey Haithcock.

She was a native of Randolph County, the widow of Fred M. Kearns Sr., a housewife, a former member of the American War Mothers and the American Legion Auxiliary, a Gray Lady for the American Red Cross at Randolph Hospital, and a member of First United Methodist Church.
Surviving are son, Fred M. Kearns Jr.; two grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.

She was the widow of John Barnes, a homemaker, a member of Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church and The Women's Society.

He was a native of New York, served in the National Guard, and retired from Black & Decker.
