She was a native of Randolph County and a member of First United Methodist Church.

She was a native of Randolph County, retired from Black & Decker, a member of Central United Methodist Church and attended Friendship Baptist Church.

She was a native of Randolph County, a homemaker and a past Matron of Chapter Vergis #17-Franklinville of the Eastern Stars.

She was a native of Guilford County, a member of Gospel Light Baptist Church in Walkertown and a homemaker.

He was a native of Davidson County, the widower of Ione Kearns Hughes, a World War II U.S. Army veteran, owned and operated 5th Avenue Cleaners in Lexington for 50 years and was a night watchman with Lexington Furniture Industries, Dixie Plant.
Surviving is sister, Lucille Carter of Denton.

She was a native of Dudley, the widow of Lyman Lyndon Moore Sr., was a 1926 graduate of Guilford College and a retired teacher from Liberty High School in 1968 after 35 years. She was an elder in her church, a Sunday school teacher and was on several church committees. She was a member of the United Society of Friends Women, served on the American Friends Service Committee, Material Aids Program and was a charter member of the Liberty Cooperative Extension Homemakers.
Surviving are daughters, Sarah M. Shoffner of Greensboro, Helen M. Teter of Liberty; two grandchildren; three stepgrandchildren; one great-grandson; three stepgreat-grandchildren.
