Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Thursday at Panther Creek Baptist Church, with Dr. Warren London officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
He was a native of Randolph County, a farmer and also worked as a contractor for a saw mill. He attended Panther Creek Baptist Church and was a member of the Adult Sunday School class.
Surviving are wife, Eva Burrow Beane of the home; sons, the Rev. John Beane and Newman Beane, both of Asheboro; sisters, Aggie Woodell, Marie Woodell and Jewel Tedder, all of Asheboro, Esther Woodell of High Falls; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.

Beulah B. Hunt
ARCHDALE - Beulah Mae Briles Hunt, 79, of GrayBrier Nursing and Retirement Center and formerly of 108 Linda Drive, Archdale, died Tuesday, May 9, 2000, at the center.
Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Sechrest Funeral Home, Archdale, with the Rev. Frank Gribble officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Gilead United Methodist Church Cemetery.
She was a native of Moore County, the widow of Thomas Ray Hunt, employed with Burlington Industries and Hazel Wiliams Florist, and was a member of Gospel Baptist Church and the Willing Workers Sunday School class.
Surviving are son, Thomas D. Hunt of Trinity; sister, Bertha Hedrick of Trinity; brother, William M. "Bill" Briles of Jamestown; one granddaughter; two great-grandchildren.
The family will be at the funeral home 7-8 p.m. Wednesday.
Lester W. Kinley
ARCHDALE - Lester William Kinley, 79, died Monday, May 8, 2000, at High Point Regional Hospital.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Fairfield United Methodist Church, where he was a member, with the Rev. Neal Brower and the Rev. Eugene Dean officiating. Burial, with Masonic graveside rites, will be in the church cemetery.
He was a native of Randolph County, a World War II U.S. Army veteran, and was retired from Union Camp Inc. in Jamestown. He was a member of his church choir, had served as custodian for several years, was a Mason and a member of Numa Reid Lodge #344 in High Point.
Surviving are wife, Roxie Wall Kinley of the home; daughters, Betty K. Shackelford of Asheboro, Sharon K. Jones of Archdale; son, Roy Wayne Kinley of Archdale; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
The family will be at Cumby Family Funeral Service, Archdale, 7-9 p.m. Wednesday.

DENTON - Edward Earl Grimmett, 39, of 2826 Bringle Ferry Road, died Monday, May 8, 2000, at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center, Winston-Salem.
Memorial service will be held at a later date in West Virginia.
He was a native of Logan County, W.Va., and had been employed as a truck driver for FFNC in High Point.
Surviving are wife, Barbara Gail Toler Grimmett of the home; son, Earl Anthony Grimmett of the home; daughters, Jessica Ann Grimmett and Tasha Nicole Grimmett, both of the home; mother, Betty Sue Grimmett of Combs Addition, W.Va.; sisters, Phyllis Elliott of Combs Addition, W.Va., Betty Jean Ball of Gilbert, W.Va.

She was a native of Randolph County, the widow of Wesley Hancock and a homemaker.
Surviving are son, Coy Hancock of Thomasville; daughter, Louise Eller of Thomasville; 10 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; 22 great-great-grandchildren.

She was a native of Davidson County, the widow of Newton H. Kearns and a member of Siloam United Methodist Church.
Surviving are daughters, Betsy K. Welborn of Wilkesboro, Ann K. Strickland of Port Orange, Fla.; sister, Nannie Snider of Asheboro; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.

He was a native of Randolph County, a World War II U.S. Army veteran, was retired from Tie Rite Neckwear and was a member of the D.A.V. and American Legion Post #45.

He was a native of Randolph County and retired from Union Carbide Corporation of Asheboro after 32 years.
Surviving are wife, Alice Criscoe Gray of Shallotte; son, Tracy Edward Gray of Wilmington; daughters, Terrie Shadid of Shallotte, Linda G. Keyler of Raleigh; brother, Bill "Jeff" Gray of Mayodan; two grandchildren.
