Funeral service will be 3 p.m. Sunday at Palmetto Land Baptist Church. Burial will be in Dorchester Memory Gardens, Summerville.
She was a native of Asheboro, educated in North Carolina schools, was a director at Wee Wonderland Daycare and assistant director at La Petite for 15 years, and was of the Baptist faith.
Surviving are husband, James "Cline" Brown Sr. of Summerville, S.C.; mother, Mary Yow Brady of Asheboro; daughter, Karen Hensley of North Charleston, S.C.; son, James C. Brown Jr. of Asheboro; sisters, Frances Caudill and Judy Burrow, both of Asheboro; brother, William Brady of Ramseur; five grandchildren.
The family will be at Dyal Funeral Home, Summerville, S.C., 6-8 p.m. Saturday.

RANDLEMAN - Margaret Louise Price Salley, 82, of 3606 Old Cedar Falls Road, Randleman, died Sunday, June 11, 2000, at Randolph Hospital.
Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Pugh Funeral Home, Asheboro. Burial will be in Cedar Falls Baptist Church Cemetery.
She was a native of Guilford County and a retired employee of Becky's of Asheboro.
Surviving are daughters, Rita S. Ingram of Ramseur, Gina S. Anwar of Asheboro; sons, Gary Stevens Salley of Randleman, Larry Richard Salley of Asheboro; sister, Mae Price Tuttle of Winston-Salem; brother, Ernest Price of Asheboro; 11 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.

RANDLEMAN - William A. "Bill" Yow, 81, of 925 E. Naomi St., died Sunday, June 11, 2000, at his home.
Graveside service with military honors will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Randolph Memorial Park.
He was a native of Randolph County, a U.S. Army veteran and was retired from Commonwealth Hosiery Mill.
Surviving are wife, Opal K. Yow of Randleman; daughter, Linda Y. Cushman of Sophia; sister, Edna Y. Williamson of Randleman; brother, Frank Yow of Siler City; two grandchildren; one great-grandchild.

SOPHIA - Clay Lyon Haney Sr., 75, of 2542 Woodfield Road, died Sunday, June 11, 2000, at Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital, Greensboro.
Graveside service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Floral Garden Park Cemetery, with the Rev. Don Ashley officiating.
He was a native of Guilford County, the widower of Hildreth Swaim Haney, a retired employee of the N.C. Department of Transportation, a World War II U.S. Army veteran and a member of Liberty Road Baptist Church in Asheboro.
Surviving are son, Clay Lyon Haney Jr. of Sophia; stepsons, Vestor Stafford of Archdale, James Ronald Stafford of Liberty; brothers, Odell Haney of Thomasville, Clyde Haney of High Point; six grandchildren; one great grandchild.

GOLDSTON - Mary Womble Elkins, 90, died Saturday, June 10, 2000, at her home.
Graveside service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Goldston United Methodist Church Cemetery, with the Rev. David Hicks officiating.
She was a native of Chatham County, a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, and was employed by Attorney Wade Barber Sr. as a legal assistant. She was retired from the N.C. Department of Instruction in Raleigh after 30 years, previously attended First Presbyterian Church in Raleigh and attended Goldston Baptist Church.
Surviving is brother, J.C. Elkins of Goldston.
The family will be at the home of the brother, Ashland Drive, Goldston.

She was a native of Gibsonville, a retired supervisor from Dixie Bell Textiles, a member of Gibsonville United Methodist Church where she was a member of Circle #2 and the Methodist Women, and was a member of VFW Auxiliary Post 2972 in Gibsonville.
Surviving are husband, L.N. Tucker of the home; daughters, Donna Keck of Mt. Airy, Sheri Small of Randleman; son, Larry Tucker of Greensboro; sister, Celia Summers of Gibsonville; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.

He was a native of Randolph County, the widower of Lola Gallimore, retired from Bossong Hosiery, a former Sunday School teacher and Superintendent at his church, and a member of Farmer Grange.
Surviving are daughters, Margie Brown and Meredith Thornburg, both of Asheboro; three grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.

He was a native of Randolph County, retired from Ramseur Interlock after 27 years, and a deacon at his church where he held several church offices.

He was a native of Gaston County, a retired traffic manager for Charlotte Curtain Co., active in his church's Youth B.T.U. programs and former coach for Gastonia Civitan Midget Football teams.
