CANDOR - Jed Everett Comer, 35, of 435 Candor Road, died Monday, March 16, 1998, in Candor.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Eagle Springs United Methodist Church, where he was a member, with the Rev. Don Burns officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
He was a native of Moore County, a 1980 graduate of East Montgomery High School and had been employed with C.I. Burkhead General Merchants and Jack's Supply, both in Candor. He had been the president of the United Methodist Men for seven years and was the superintendent of the Sunday School department at his church. He had been a member of the Candor Fire Department for 17 years.
Surviving are mother, Maria Blake Comer of the home; brother, Jimmy Comer of Eagle Springs.

She was a native of Guilford County, a Sunday School member of First Wesleyan Church, Randleman, and was a nursing aide.
