Surviving in addition to the parents are grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Brixey of Aberdeen, and Gary Albright of Bennett; great-grandparents, Dot Purvis of Bennett and Cliff Smith of Lumberton.

She was a native of Davidson County, retired from both General Electric Co. and Champagne Dye. She was a member of Crestview Wesleyan Church, a volunteer with Hospice of Randolph County and the widow of George Hepler.

She was a native of Randolph County, retired from Randolph Knitting and a member of Macedonia United Methodist Church in Montgomery County.

She was a native of Randolph County, a homemaker and the widow of Moses H. Adams.

HIGH POINT - Mary Smith Mitchell, 82, formerly of Eaton Place, died Saturday, Aug. 12, 2000.
Funeral service will be 4 p.m. Tuesday in Sechrest Chapel, East Lexington Avenue, High Point, with the Rev. Ken Day and the Rev. Fred W. Reece officiating. Burial will be in Floral Garden Park Cemetery.
She was a Randolph County native, a seamstress associated with the Anvil Brand of Archdale Manufacturing and former manager of Smitherson Quilting Firm. She was retired from N.C. Garment Company, was self-employed in the alteration business, a member of Level Cross United Methodist Church and the widow of Woodrow W. Mitchell.
Surviving are daughters, Ruth Sexton Batten and Sherry Mitchell Sumner, both of High Point; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; three stepgrandchildren; two stepgreat-grandchildren.

She was a Montgomery County native, a homemaker and was active in the 4-H Clubs of Montgomery County.

He was a native of Seagrove, a retired furniture worker after over 40 years, he was a member of Gospel Baptist Church in High Point, served as a lay minister for numerous churches, and was also a deacon and a Sunday School teacher.
Surviving are wife, Eva Beck; daughters, Blaine Beck of Selden, N.Y., Carolyn Pulliam of Winston-Salem; sons, Harold Beck of Danville, Va., Martin Beck of Winston-Salem; brother, Harvey Beck of Siler City; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
