Graveside service will be 2 p.m. Friday, at Chatham Memorial Park, with the Rev. Don Daniels officiating.
He was a native of Chatham County, was of the Methodist faith, a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and retired from Collins & Aikman, Siler City.
Surviving are wife, Dorothy V. Yow of Siler City; sons, Nick York of Atlanta, Ga., Larry Yow of Apex; daughter, Sue Y. Teague of Siler City; sister, Edna Williamson of Randleman; 10 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.

Jack C. Thomas Sr.
GRANBURY, Texas - Jack C. Thomas Sr., 71, died Sunday, Nov. 5, 2000, in Granbury, Texas.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Bethel Church of God, Seagrove, with the Rev. Terry Beaver and the Rev. Paul Collins officiating. Burial will be in Pine Rest Cemetery, Robbins.
He was a native of High Point, the widower of Gladys Thomas, a retired minister in the Church of God and a pianist.
Surviving are daughter, Teresa T. McCoy of Granbury, Texas; sons, Jerry Thomas of Charlottesville, Va., Jack C. Thomas Jr. of Raleigh; sisters, Mildred T. Hare, Barbara T. Fox, both of Seagrove, Shirley T. Jackson and Gail T. Davis, both of Robbins; nine grandchildren.
The family will be at Kennedy Funeral Home, Robbins, 7-9 p.m. Friday, other times at the home of Barbara Fox, 1620 N.C. 705 South, Seagrove.

ASHEBORO - Donald Wayne Clodfelter, 23, formerly of Asheboro, died Saturday, Oct. 28, 2000, at Memorial Mission Hospital, Asheville.
Graveside service will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Lebanon United Methodist Church Cemetery, High Point, with the Rev. Jeff Lamb officiating.
He was a native of Guilford County.
Surviving are mother and stepfather, Janice Clodfelter and Donald Ray Merritt; grandparents, Howard Monroe Clodfelter of Greensboro, Florence Clodfelter of Asheboro; great-grandparents, David and Christine Cartrette of York, S.C.

ASHEBORO - David Charles Jarrell, 60, of 2494 Old Farmer Road, Asheboro, died Tuesday, Oct. 31, 2000, at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center, Winston-Salem.
Graveside service will be 3 p.m. Thursday at West Bend UMC Cemetery, with the Rev. Robert Routh officiating.
He was a native of Randolph County and the widower of Patricia Jarrell.
Surviving are daughters, Ann Rich of Asheboro, Jeannie Blanchard of Thomasville; son, Lloyd Jarrell and Johnny Jarrell, both of Randleman, Brian Jarrell of Asheboro; sisters, Fayedean Isom, Becky Hughes, Ophelia Gasey, all of Asheboro, Norma Garner of Denton; brothers, Cecil Jarrell of High Point, Donald Jarrell and Mike Rollins, both of Asheboro; nine grandchildren.

George F. McKinnon Sr.
ASHEBORO - George F. McKinnon Sr., 67, died Sunday, Oct. 29, 2000.
Memorial service will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Saint Joseph's Catholic Church, Asheboro, with Father Joseph Mack officiating.
He was a native of Franklinville, the widower of Barbara Ann Johnson, and he attended public school in Franklinville. He was both a U.S. Army and U.S. Air Force veteran and a Korean War veteran where he received the Purple Heart Medal.
Surviving are son, Karl L. McKinnon of Greensboro; brother, William B. McKinnon of Ramseur; sister, Nancy New of Franklinville.
The family will be at the church one hour prior to the memorial service.

He was a native of Chatham County and was retired from Weiman Furniture Company after 52 years.
Surviving are son, Floyd Russell Welch of Ramseur; daughters, Verlean Hoover and Ruth Yow, both of Ramseur, Doris Pugh of Asheboro; several grandchildren; several great-grandchildren.

She was a native of Siler City, a retired seamstress from A. J. Schneierson & Sons and was a member of First United Methodist Church.
Surviving is sister, Eliza Mae Smith of Siler City.

She was a native of Davie County, the widow of both Burley Booe and Claude R. Tate Sr. and she was retired from Monarch Hosiery Mill.

He was a native of Randolph County, a graduate of Trinity High School, and a U.S. Navy veteran, retiring as a Chief Petty Officer. He was honored by the Muscular Dystrophy Association at the Jerry Lewis Labor Day Telethon as the State's 1994 Personal Achievement Award Winner.
