ASHEBORO - Jane Ridenhour Baldwin, 84, died Friday, Nov. 17, 2000, at Carolinas Medical Center.
Graveside service will be 2 p.m. Monday in Sharon Cemetery, Mt. Gilead. Memorial service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Southminster Retirement Community, Charlotte.
She was a 1937 graduate of Greensboro College, where she was president of the senior class. The widow of Jesse Alfred Baldwin, she was a former schoolteacher. She was employed at the Seymour-Johnson military base during World War II, was a member of Central United Methodist Church where she was in the women's circles and was a member of the Col. Andrew Balfour Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution.
Surviving are daughters, Rebecca B. Thiel of Arlington, Texas, Barbara B. Highfill of Charlotte; son, Jesse Alfred Baldwin of Carrboro; three grandchildren.
The family will be at McKeithan Funeral Home, Mt. Gilead, 1-2 p.m. Monday prior to the service, and at Southminster in Charlotte, following that service on Tuesday.

ASHEBORO - Walter Thomas "Tom" McNeil, 91, of 400 Vision Drive, Asheboro, died Saturday, Nov. 18, 2000, at SunBridge Care & Rehabilitation, Asheboro.
Funeral service will 8 p.m. Monday at Ridge Funeral Home, Asheboro, with Dr. W. Russell Ward Jr. officiating. A private burial will be on Tuesday at Evergreen Burial Park in Roanoke, Va.
He was a native of Rocky Mount, Va., the widower of Edna Stone McNeil and was a retired miller. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church, a Master Mason, a member of Balfour Masonic Lodge #188 AF & AM and a member of KAZIM Temple Shrine A.A.O.N.M.S. in Roanoke, Va.
Surviving are stepdaughter, Janellen Brady of Asheboro; sister, Betty McNeil of Virginia.
The family will be at the funeral home 7-8 p.m. Monday.

He was a native of Randolph County, retired from Arrow International and had worked at Acme-McCrary Corp.

GREENSBORO - Clifford Hussey, 75, of 410 Eugene St., died Friday, Nov. 17, 2000, at Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital, Greensboro.
There will be no funeral service.
He was a native of Moore County and was retired from White Oak Mills.
Surviving are sisters, Edna Coward, Eva Skeen and Myrtie Ritter, all of Robbins, Gertrude Owens of Seagrove; brother, Lennie Hussey of Robbins; half sisters, Marie Albright of Seagrove, Jenevie Murray of Bennett; half brother, Charles Hussey of Robbins.

SILER CITY - Robert D. "Bobby" Gee Jr., 72, of 2815 W. Third St., died Saturday, Nov. 18, 2000, at Chatham Hospital.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Monday at Oakley Baptist Church, where he was a member, with the Rev Timothy A. Howell and the Rev. Bert Petty officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
He was a native of Chatham County and the owner/operator of Gee's.

He was a native of Randolph County and a self-employed building contractor.

He was a native of Montgomery County and the retired owner/operator of Owen Parsons General Store. He was a Mason and a member of Troy Lodge 718 AF & AM, the Oasis Shrine and the Scottish Rite and he was a World War II U.S. Army veteran and a member of the Stanly County D.A.V.
Surviving are wife, MagnoIia Boyd Parsons of the home; stepsons, Danny Freeman and Wayne Freeman, both of Candor, Henry P. Cannon of Marshville, James E. Cannon of Newton; stepdaughters, Martha Phillips of Locust, Nancy Saunders of Candor; brother, James W. Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, at First United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Randolph Memorial Park.
He was the widower of Faye Macon Johnson, worked over 50 years in the hosiery industry, including Bossong Hosiery, Diamond Hosiery, Burlington Industries, and Laughlin Hosiery and served in the Randleman Rotary Club and the Methodist Church.
Surviving are daughter, Agnes Johnson Price of Burlington; son, Dock E. Johnson of Randleman; three grandchildren.
