Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Friday at First Wesleyan Church, Troy, with the Rev. Douglas W. Beadle and the Rev. Ralph Clayton Jr. officiating. Burial will be in Southside Cemetery, Troy.
She was a native of Montgomery County and a retired clerk with Jarrett Stationary Company.
Surviving are husband, Darrell Kennedy of the home; sisters, Jeanette Poole, Sadie Clayton, Marie Mullinix, all of Troy, Ruby Myrick of West End; stepson, Michael Kennedy of Trinity; two grandchildren.

GREENSBORO - Mary B. Snyder Yow, 88, died Tuesday, Feb. 6, 2001, at Carolina Commons-Britthaven.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Friday at Hanes-Lineberry Funeral Home, Sedgefield Chapel, Greensboro. Burial will be in Guilford Memorial Park.
She was a native of Guilford County and a member of Pinecroft Baptist Church.
Surviving are husband, E H. Yow Sr.; daughters, Daphne Oldham of Asheboro, Sandra Tyner of West End, Patsy Hawks of Greensboro; 12 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren.

LEXINGTON - Hilda Hedrick Parks, 66, of Parks Road, died Tuesday, Feb. 6, 2001, at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center, Winston-Salem.
Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Friday at Beck's United Church of Christ, where she was a member, with the Rev. Ed Rawls, the Rev. Banks Shepherd and the Rev. A. C. Brock officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
She was a native of Davidson County, attended Lenoir Rhyne College and was co-founder of Lexco Heating and Cooling, Inc.
Surviving are husband, Hoyle Parks of the home; sons, Will Parks, David Parks, both of Lexington; mother, Alma Briggs Hedrick of Lexington; brothers, Joe E. Hedrick, Willis Hedrick, Jerry D. Hedrick, all of Lexington; three grandchildren.

She was a native of Sampson County, the widow of Julian Autry, a member of the Bradford-Tew Women on Mission Group and the Senior Adult Sunday School Class at her church, and she was a homemaker.
Surviving are daughters, Julia A. Williamson and Robin A. Hussey, both of Asheboro; sisters, Catherine T. Parsons of Eagle Springs, Pat T. Lowe of Greenville; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.

He was a World War II U.S. Army veteran and retired from Ranpom Mill.

STAR - Helen Virginia Smith Register, 81, of 1959 U.S. 220 Alt., died Tuesday, Feb. 6, 2001, at Duke University Medical Center in Durham.

She was a native of Moore County, the widow of James McIver Register, and was a retired teacher after 32 years at Ether and Seagrove elementary schools.
Surviving are daughter, Carolyn L. Register, sons, David T. Register of Gainesville, Ga., Michael A. Register of Savannah, Ga., Douglas John Register of Durham; two grandchildren; one great-grandchild.

She was a native of Bamburg, S.C., attended Buies Creek Academy and Salem College, and was the widow of Robah Gray Styers. She taught piano for many years.
