Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Friendship Baptist Church, with the Rev. Rex Pollard officiating. Burial will be in Randolph Memorial Park.
She was a native of Dunbar, W.Va., the widow of James Melville Hamric, a member of Centre Grange and treasurer of Centre Community Center. She was a site manager for Senior Citizens at Burnetts Chapel Church, a member of Guilford Homemakers Club, participated in Meals on Wheels and attended Friendship Baptist Church.
Surviving are daughter, Sheila H. Wilson of Daytona Beach, Fla.; son, J. Fred Hamric of Greensboro; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Monday, at Liberty Road Baptist Church, where he was a member, with the Rev. Don Ashley and the Rev. Robert Lucas officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
He was employed with McRae Roofing and was a trustee at his church.

Wood of Shallotte; brothers, Tony Wood of Asheboro, David Wood of McLean, N.Y.; grandmother, Grace Newman of Asheboro; stepdaughter, Angel Turner of Asheboro; stepson, Gary Carter of Randleman; one grandson.

ARCHDALE - Agnes Marie Welch Sheffield, 91, formerly of High Point, and of Robbins, died Friday, Feb. 23, 2001, at SunBridge of Asheboro.
Graveside service will be 11 a.m. Monday in Floral Garden Park Cemetery, with the Rev. Bob Metters officiating.
She was a native of High Point, the widow of Neill McDonald Sheffield Sr., a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith.
Surviving are daughters, Doris Pitts of Seagrove, Sandra Joines of Asheboro; sons, Neil M. Sheffield Jr. of Oak Island, Samuel F. Sheffield of Robbins, Harold W. Sheffield of Archdale; sisters, Treva Safreit of Mocksville, Margaret Taylor of Monroe, Connie Pippin of Yadkinville, Grace Phillips of East Bend; 17 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren.

DENTON - Reverend Foster R. Loflin, 90, of 2066 N.C. 109 South, died Friday, Feb. 23, 2001, at his home.
Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, at Alleghany United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Peter McGuire and the Rev. Randy Lucas officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
He was a native of Davidson County and a retired minister in the Western North Carolina Conference of the United Methodist Church, having served as pastor of churches in Mocksville, Sandy Ridge, ShoaIs, Seagrove, Statesville and Albemarle.
Surviving are wife, MabeI Yates Loflin of the home; daughter, Fran L. Craven of Scottsdale, Ariz.; brother, Reid Loflin of Denton; sister, Ocie L. Fine of Denton; one grandchild.

TROY - Mary Ann Greene, 75, of Lovejoy Road, died Friday, Feb. 23, 2001, at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital.

She was a native of Akron, Ohio, an assistant at Greene's Guns and Ammo, a member of Trinity UMC and was a homemaker.

She was a native of Monmoth County, New Jersey, attended South Asheboro Middle School, Asheboro High School, and was employed at Creative Host in Greensboro.

She was a native of Randolph County and retired from Commonwealth Hosiery Mill.

She was a native of Randolph County, the widow of William Allen Morton, employed by Slane Hosiery Mill before retirement, and was a member of First Wesleyan Church.

He was an antique dealer and the widower of Sally Wade Crocker.
