He was a native of Guilford County, a 1986 graduate of Randleman High School and was employed with Crescent Ford in High Point as a service technician.

She was a native of Montgomery County, a Jehovah's Witness and retired from Acme-McCrary.

He was a native of Davidson County, the widower of Mary Thornburg Buie and Jennie Parker Byerly Buie, formerly employed with Cummings Diesel and retired from Quality Saw Shop, High Point. He was a charter member of Fair Grove Fire Department and Davidson County Senior Citizens, was a Davidson County Justice of the Peace and a member of the Men's Bible Class and the Brotherhood at his church.
Surviving are daughters, Lena Rockett of Thomasville, Rosa Boyd of High Point; sons, Bobby Buie, Edward Buie, Harry Buie, all of Thomasville; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.
