Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Friday at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, where she was a member, with Father John Pollock officiating. Burial will be in Clinton Cemetery.
She was a native of Sampson County, the widow of James Withers Seay, and a homemaker.
Surviving are husband, Robert W. Shaw; daughter, Anne Seay Potter of Asheboro; sisters, Wilma Ezzell of Fayetteville, Dixie Yancey, Peggy Quick and Pat Fryar, all of Clinton; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.

ASHEBORO - Robert Earl Lail, 74, of 1008 Meadowbrook Road, Asheboro, died Wednesday, April 25, 2001, at his home.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Saturday at First United Methodist Church, where he was a member, with Dr. Boyd Stokes and the Rev. Jerry Lail officiating. Burial will be in Oaklawn Cemetery.
He was a native of Gaston County, retired from Acme-McCrary Corp. and operated Asheboro Monument Sales for Wiley Brothers Marble & Granite. He was a catcher with the McCrary Eagles, a Little League coach, a coach for the Asheboro Parks & Recreation Colt League and a member of Woodmen of the World.
Surviving are wife, Mary Beth Lail of the home; daughters, Jane L. Hinson of Roanoke, Va., Lee Goodin, Debbie Flecken, both of Asheboro; son, Randy Lail of Asheboro; brothers, Jim Lail of Lincolnton, Darrell Lail of Crouse, Roy Lail of Bessemer City, Jerry Lail of Cherryville; seven grandchildren.

She was a native of Moore County, the widow of Clyde Wallace, retired from Burlington Industries and was a member of Brower's Chapel United Methodist Church.

He was a native of El Salvador and a farmer.
