She was a native of Unicoi County, Tenn., of the Baptist faith and was a homemaker.

She was a native of Davidson County, the widow of Clarence T. Cooper, a member of Coggins Memorial Baptist Church and a practical nurse.

Cooper of Reedy Creek, Clarence Thomas Cooper Jr. of Churchland; daughters, Dorothy Jean Coppley of Rockingham, Lucy Mae Russell of Salisbury; sister, Berta Y. Byerly of Asheboro; 10 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren.

She was a native of Moore County and a commercial fisher in Pamlico Sound.

BROOMFIELD, COLO. - Marvin Samuel Cullins, formerly of High Point, died Wednesday, April 15, 1998, in Colorado.
Funeral service was noon Monday at Haizlip Funeral Home, High Point, with Father Phillip Kellithanath officiating. Burial was in National Cemetery, Salisbury.
He was a native of Randleman, a World War II U.S. Army veteran, an upholster, a florist, was retired from N.C. Baptist Hospital after 25 years as a medical technician in the Emergency Department and was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church.
Surviving are wife, Dorothy Cullins; stepson, Jasper Lawhon Jr.; daughters, Maureen Cullins, Kathleen High; son, Marvin Cullins II; brother, Charles Cullins; sister, Ruby Parker; four grandchildren.
