Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Friday at Pugh Funeral Home, Asheboro. Burial will be in Franklinville United Methodist Church Cemetery.
She was a native of Randolph County and retired from Stuart Furniture.
Surviving are daughters, Hilda Harmon and Linda Dunlap, both of Maiden, Gracie Morgan of Prince Frederick, Md.; son, Clarence Lee Brady of Randleman; sister, Bertha Miller of Asheboro; two grandsons; four great-grandchildren.
The family will be at the funeral home 7-9 p.m. Thursday.

ASHEBORO - Louise Corene Cleveland Cox, 92, of SunBridge Rest & Rehabilitation of Asheboro, died Wednesday, June 27, 2001, at SunBridge.
Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Friday at Pugh Funeral Home, Asheboro, with the Rev. George McDowell officiating. Burial will be in Randolph Memorial Park.
She was a native of Lovina, Ga., the widow of W. Alton Cox, a member of Balfour Baptist Church, retired from Asheboro City School Systems where she worked in a cafeteria and was a member of Eastern Star, Randolph #210 of Asheboro.
Surviving are sons, Calvin Cox of Randleman, William Willard Cox of Asheboro, Terry J. Cox of Greensboro; daughter, Dot Russell of Asheboro; sisters, Amalee Baldwin, Margaret Burton, Pat Cargal, all of High Point, Frances Baldwin of Franklinville; 10 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren.
The family will be at the funeral home 7-9 p.m. Thursday.

ASHEBORO - Doyle Reed Williamson, 50, of 2013 Lineberry St., Asheboro, died Tuesday, June 26, 2001, at Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital, Greensboro.
Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Friday at Ridge Funeral Home, Asheboro. Burial will be in Union Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
He was a native of Randolph County and employed with Bossong Hosiery Mill.
Surviving are mother, Margaret Owen Williamson of Asheboro; sister, Rebecca Pennell of Asheboro; brother, Larry Williamson of Seagrove.

RANDLEMAN - Virginia Mae George Moran, 78, of Country Club Rest Home and formerly of 8348 Harlow Road, Archdale, died Tuesday, June 26, 2001, at Randolph Hospital.
Funeral service will be 10:30 a.m. Friday at Cumby Family Funeral Service, Archdale. Burial will be 1 p.m. Friday in the family cemetery at Johnstown near Westfield.
She was a native of Stokes County, the widow of Ray Oliver Moran, a homemaker and a member of Big Creek Primitive Baptist Church in Stokes County.
Surviving are son, Donald G. Moran of Randleman; daughters, Jo Ann M. Sluder of Lake Forrest, Fla., Vickie M. Wilson of Thomasville, Doris M. Crayton of Archdale; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.

A private graveside service will be held at a later date in Maple Hill Cemetery, Bluefield, Va.
Surviving are daughter, Vera Winston of Asheboro; sister, Anna Bell Artman of Sault St. Marie, Mich.; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.

MT. GILEAD - Louise C. "Lucy" Truett, 88, of Newberry, S.C., died Wednesday, June 27, 2001, at the home of her daughter, Brenda T. Harris, in Mt. Gilead.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Central United Methodist Church, Newberry, S.C., where she was a member. Burial will be in Newberry Memorial Gardens.
She was a native of Springfield, S.C., the widow of Dr. F.A. Truett, a graduate of the Columbia Hospital School of Nursing, attended Peabody College in Nashville, Tenn., was a retired director of the Newberry County Retired Volunteer Program and was a member of Circle #5 and the Ezell Bible Class at her church.
Surviving are daughter and son-in-law, Brenda T. Harris and the Rev. Jim Harris, with whom she lived, of Mt. Gilead; sisters, Iris C. Gleaton of Springfield, S.C., Gertrude C. Semaske of Louisburg; two granddaughters; one great-grandson.
The family will be at Whitaker Funeral Home, Newberry, S.C., 6:30-8 p.m. Friday. McKeithan Funeral Home, Mt. Gilead, is in charge of local arrangements.

She was a native of Moore County, the widow of Herbert C. Scott, a member of the Ladies Sunday School Class at her church and a homemaker.

Graveside service will be 11 a.m. Monday at Floral Garden Park Cemetery, High Point, with Dr. Glenn L. Myers Jr. and Lloyd G. Hunsucker officiating.
She was a native of Badin, the widow of Alson Thomas "Al" Hoover, had been a nurse at Guilford General Hospital, had run a nursing home in Asheboro and was a member of Christ United Methodist Church.
Surviving is daughter, Marlene Maness of Randleman; son, Jay Hoover of Greensboro; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.
There will be no visitation.

She was a native of Montgomery County and retired from High Point Regional Hospital.

She was a native of South Carolina, retired from Robbins Mills and a member of a quilting club.
