Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at Pugh Funeral Home, Randleman, with Pastor Jim Honeycutt officiating. Burial will be in Randolph Memorial Park.
He was a native of Randolph County, a World War II U.S. Army veteran and retired from Burlington Industries.
Surviving are wife, Faye Farrington Tysinger of Randleman; daughter, Judy T. Thompson of Lexington; son, Terry Tysinger of Randleman; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
The family will be at the funeral home 7-9 p.m. Tuesday.

HIGH POINT - Thomas James Prangley, 73, of 2400 Glencove Way, died Saturday, July 7, 2001, at High Point Regional Hospital.
Funeral service will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, where he was a member, with Father Joseph Zuschmidt O.S.F.S. officiating. Burial will be in Floral Garden Park Cemetery.
He was a native of Grand Rapids, Mich., a graduate of Kendall School of Design and a furniture designer for 40 years. He was a World War II U.S. Army veteran and a member of the High Point Golf Association.
Surviving are wife, Rheumell Jones Prangley of the home; daughter, Susan Kimel of Asheboro; brother, Leslie Prangley Jr. of Grand Rapids, Mich.; one granddaughter.

MT. GILEAD - Ira Stancil "Nookie" Bruton Jr., 59, of 347 Thomasville Church Road, died Sunday, July 8, 2001, at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital, Pinehurst.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at First United Methodist Church, Troy, where he was a member, with the Rev. Glenn Hancock officiating. Burial will be in McRae Cemetery, Mt. Gilead.
He was a native of Montgomery County and a mechanic at Bill's Marina, Norwood.
Surviving are wife, Doris Sanders Bruton of the home; daughters, Lisa Cunningham of Mt. Pleasant, Dana Henry of Albemarle, Mica Dodge of Troy; mother, Mary Lee Bruton of Troy; brothers, Jay Bruton of Pekin, Lee Bruton of Atlanta, Ga.; four grandchildren.

MT. GILEAD - Mary Elizabeth Little, 91, of 633 McKay Hill Road, died Saturday, July 7, 2001, at FirstHealth Montgomery Memorial Hospital, Troy.
Funeral service will be noon Friday at St. Stevens A.M.E Church, where she was a member, with the Rev. Brent LaPrince Edwards officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
She was the widow of the late Ed W. Little and a homemaker.
Surviving are son, William E. Little of Mt. Gilead; daughters, Naomi Roberts of Woodbridge, Va., Jessie Phillips of Marshville; 24 grandchildren; 56 great-grandchildren; 39 great-great-grandchildren.
The family will be at the church 11 a.m.-noon Friday, prior to the service.

He was a native of Moore County and a field vaccinator rep for Townsend.

HAMLET - Mary Edith Kellis Murchison, 75, of 652 Ghio Road, formerly of Norman, died Sunday, July 8, 2001, at the home of her daughter-in-law, Alice Murchison.
Funeral service will be 4 p.m. Wednesday at Carter Funeral Home, Rockingham, with the Rev. Thurman Knight officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church cemetery in Montgomery County.
She was a native of Montgomery County, the widow of Walter Bernie Murchison, a member of Norman Presbyterian Church, where she had taught Sunday school, and retired from Care Inn as a nurses' aide.
Surviving are son, Walter Bruce Murchison of Rockingham; brother, Hugh Kellis of Rockingham; sister, Lois Caulder of Wilmington; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.

She was a native of Thomasville, retired as head librarian at the Randleman Public Library and received the Laity Service Award for the year 2001 from her church.
Surviving are husband, William "Bill" Dorsett of Randleman; sons, Ray Dorsett of Richmond, Va., Jerry Dorsett of Wallburg; mother, Gladys Vaden Kennedy Adams of Trinity; sisters, Cora Ann George of Thomasville, Ruby Melton of Greensboro; four grandchildren.

She was a native of Toccoa Falls, Ga., and worked as a nurse. She was a member of Cedar Falls Baptist Church, where she was a Sunday School and youth group teacher, pianist and choir director, and employed with A.R.O. Community Services.
Surviving are husband, the Rev. Russell E. Chrisco of Cedar Falls; daughters, Debbie Sheron of Asheboro, Becky Marlowe of Marion; parents, the Rev. Kenneth and Olive Pollock of Concord; sisters, Marsha Barr of Cummings, Ga., Charity Beurhaus of Piedmont, Ala., Faith Grubb of Pine Mt. Valley, Ga.; brothers, Douglas Pollock of Wilmington, Del., Timothy Pollock of Concord; three grandchildren.
