Memorial service will be 2 p.m. Monday at Pugh Funeral Home, Asheboro, with the Rev. W. Russell Ward Jr. officiating. Burial will be in Arlington Memorial Park, Atlanta, Ga.
She was formerly of Atlanta, Ga., the widow of Elton Tingle, and a member of First Presbyterian Church.
Surviving are daughter, Gail T. Minier of Asheboro; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.
The family will be at the funeral home after the service.

SILER CITY - Elizabeth Burke Leavy, 80, of Lot 7 Country Manor Estate, died Friday, July 20, 2001, at UNC Hospitals in Chapel Hill.
Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Monday at Brookdale Baptist Church, where she was a member, with the Rev. Walter Jones and the Rev. Roger Shuford officiating. Burial will be in Chatham Memorial Park, Siler City.
She was a native of Chatham County.

R. Burke of Siler City; sisters, Margie Clark, Emma Moore, both of Siler City; 20 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren.

TROY - Oscar Theron Cagle, 76, of 117 Cardan Drive, died Saturday, July 21, 2001, at his home.
Graveside service with Masonic rites will be 11 a.m. Monday at Southside Cemetery, with the Rev. Michael Brewer officiating.
He was a native of Montgomery County, a member of Love Joy United Methodist Church, a former member of the Scottish Rites in Charlotte, a member of Masonic Lodge 718 in Troy, and was a World War II U.S. Navy veteran.
Surviving are wife, Sarah Louise Cranford Cagle of the home; sons, Oscar Theron Cagle Jr. of Lynchburg, Va., Jonathan Craig Cagle of Newport News, Va.; stepdaughters, Gwinne Parsons Lincoln of Troy, Gloria Parsons Burris of New London; brother, Billy Ray Cagle of Troy; 11 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.

He was a native of Mt. Gilead, the widower of Lillie Blake Byrd, retired shipping foreman with J.P. Stevens Inc. in Rockingham and was later associated with Allen Bros. Timber Co.

He was a native of Randolph County, formerly employed with Nance Chevrolet, retired from Wayne Thomas Chevrolet after 30 years, and attended West Bend United Methodist Church.

She was a native of Binghamton, N.Y., an employee of Acme-McCrary Hosiery Mill and a member of Kingdom Builders Ministries where she was a Sunday School Pastor.

She was a native of Montgomery County, a retired Licensed Practical Nurse with Randolph Hospital and worked in the Women's Ministries at her church.

He was a native of Troy, widower of Peggy Wray Saunders and Mary Katherine Stork Saunders, retired manager of Quik Chek and a World War II U.S. Army Air Corps veteran. He was a volunteer for Stanly Memorial Hospital, Meals on Wheels and the American Red Cross and a graduate of Troy High School.
Surviving are son, Van Saunders of Troy; daughters, Luan Parker and Janice Burton, both of Charlotte, Dixie Kearns of Troy; sister, Lucille Wray of Thomasville; eight grandchildren.

She was a native of Burnsville, where she was an English teacher for 48 years, the widower of John G. Wilson and a member of First Presbyterian Church in Hamlet.
Surviving are two granddaughters; five great-grandchildren.
