Graveside service will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Randolph Memorial Park, with the Rev. Jeff Lamb officiating.
She was a native of Randolph County and retired from Kayser-Roth Corp.
Surviving are husband, Floyd Owens of the home; son, Marston Johnson of Troy; sisters, Annie Dorsett, Algie Caviness, both of Asheboro; brothers, Pearlman Pickett, Johnny Pickett, both of Asheboro.

ASHEBORO - Levy Dell McLaughlin, 95, of 3155 Happy Hollow Road, Asheboro, died Wednesday, Aug. 29, 2001, at his home.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Ridge Funeral Home, Asheboro, with the Rev. Boyd Byerly and the Rev. J. Harold Hammond officiating. Burial will be in Flag Springs United Methodist Church Cemetery.
He was a native of Custer County, Neb., and retired from Acme-McCrary Corp.
Surviving are wife, Leona Spencer McLaughlin of the home; daughter, Aleta M. Welch of Asheboro; sons, Tolley McLaughlin of Franklinville, Durward McLaughlin, Levy Delton McLaughlin, Kevan McLaughlin, all of Asheboro; 20 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; five great-great- grandchildren.

She was a native of Guilford County and the widow of Jay Lee Murphy Sr.

Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Smith & Buckner Funeral Home, Siler City, with the Rev. Dennis Cook officiating. Burial will be in Rives Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery.
He was a native of Chatham County, of the Baptist faith and a self-employed carpenter.
Surviving are sons, Thomas Foushee of Harker Heights, Texas, Kenny "Rat" Foushee of Ramseur, Clarence "Peanut" Foushee of Siler City; daughter, Susie F. Moody of Siler City; father, Maddie Foushee of Siler City; mother, Lillie McDaniel Foushee of Siler City; brothers, Gerald Foushee of Staley, Kenneth Foushee of Siler City; sisters, Faye Dean Stout, Sylvia Brown, both of Siler City, Zelda Lewis of Graham; 12 grandchildren; one great-grandchild.

She was a native of Brooklyn, N.Y., a member of Eleazer UMC and a homemaker.
Surviving are daughter, Sue Schiebl of the home; sister, Blanche Marchese of Neversink, N.Y.; five grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two stepgreat-grandchildren.

ROBBINS - Fred Howard Scott, 69, of 2100 Brown's Mill Road, died Wednesday, Aug. 29, 2001, at his home.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Providence Chapel Christian Church, where he was a member, with the Rev. Ralph Smith, the Rev. Lonnie Poole and the Rev. Burton King officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery with military honors.
He was a native of Guilford County, a U.S. Navy veteran of the Korean conflict, and a deacon, choir director, Sunday School teacher and former trustee at his church. He was employed in insurance sales, owned and operated Scott's Laundry & Dry Cleaners, co-owner of Shirley's Fried Chicken in Robbins and retired from Mid-State Plastics, Seagrove.
Surviving are wife, Shirley Brewer Scott; sons, Myron Scott of Bear Creek, Michael Scott and Mark Scott, both of Robbins; mother, Bertha Maness Scott of Robbins; sister, Thelma S. Davis of Carthage; brothers, Joseph F. Scott of Greensboro, James Scott, Robert Scott, David Scott, John Scott and Roy Scott, all of Robbins; six grandchildren.

She was a native of Wake County and the widow of Ronald Hales.
