He was a native of Huskvarna, Sweden, a charter member of Elk Lodge 2742 in North Fort Myers, Fla., and retired from Midlantic Bank in Newark, N.J.
Surviving are wife, Eleanor M. Anderson of the home; stepdaughters, Madeline Kincaid of the home, Barbara Michetti of Southern Pines and Mary Hurley of Shelter Island, N.Y.; sister, Christina Ribendahl of Sweden; six stepgrandchildren; nine stepgreat-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Monday at Dover Baptist Church, where she was a member, with the Rev. Lonnie Gibson and Rev. Mike Holyfield officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
She was a native of Montgomery County and retired from Russell Hosiery Mill.

She was a native of Guilford County, of the Baptist faith and was a homemaker.

MT. GILEAD - Johnny Lonzo McKinnon Sr., 63, of 410 E. Allenton St., died Friday, May 1, 1998 at his home.

He was a native of Mt. Gilead, a graduate of Mt. Gilead High School, a retired volunteer fireman and a textile mechanic for Collins and Aikman in Albemarle.

He was a native of Chatham County, employed with Mastercraft Fabrics of Siler City, in the choir at his church and a volunteer fireman with the Siler City Fire Department.

She attended Rohtenberg School of Language, was a graduate of Nebraska Wesleyan University, a delegate for two World Methodist Conferences and was a member of United Methodist Women, Church Women United, P.E.O. International and the Quest Club.

JULIAN - James Thomas Holt, 99, of 6247 Nat Road, died Tuesday, May 5, 1998, at Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital, Greensboro.
Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Pleasant Union United Methodist Church, where he was a member, with the Rev. Harry Andrews and the Rev. Greg Freeman officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
He was a native of Caswell County, the widower of Dortha Causey Holt, a mathematics and history teacher for 38 years in the Guilford, Forsyth and Rockingham County Schools and retired from Rankin High School, Greensboro, in 1964. He was a graduate of Trinity Park Preparatory School and Duke University where he was on the varsity cross country track and wrestling teams and was a Sunday School teacher at his church.
Surviving are son, Dr. Leonidas C. Holt of Greensboro; daughter, Barbara Avery of Greensboro; half sister, Juanita Cook of Greensboro; one grandson.
The family will be at the church immediately following the service.
