FRANKLINVILLE - William Marshall Lineberry, 83, of 2881 Marclif Road, died Friday, Oct. 12, 2001, at Asheboro Health & Rehabilitation.
Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Monday at Central Falls Baptist Church, where he was a member, with the Rev. Dale Collingwood and the Rev. Clay Davis officiating. Burial will be in Grays Chapel United Methodist Church cemetery.
He was a native of Randolph County, retired from Randolph County Schools after 33 years, and a former deacon and Sunday school teacher at his church.
Surviving are daughters, Angie Jenkins of Franklinville, Elsie Craven of Central Falls; sons, James Lineberry, Dennis Saunders, both of Franklinville; brother, Glenn Lineberry of Asheboro; 13 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren.
The family will be at the church 6:30-9 p.m. Sunday, other times at the home.

She was a native of Montgomery County and a homemaker.

ASHEBORO - Fred Albert Britt, 77, of 2255 Tot Hill Farm Road, Asheboro, died Friday, Oct. 12, 2001, at his home.

He was a native of Montgomery County, a World War II U.S. Army veteran, a retired shipping clerk with Stedman Corp. and retired from L-Ranch.

He was a native of Randolph County and a 1974 graduate of Southwestern Randolph High School.

He was a native of Randolph County, chairman of the deacons and a Sunday school teacher at his church, retired from Burlington Industries after 37 years and was employed with Tom's Creek Farm and Nursery.
Surviving are daughter, Margie R. Morris of Asheboro; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.

He was a native of Randolph County, attended First Wesleyan Church where he was a member of the Men's Bible class, retired from Klaussner Furniture Co. and a veteran of World War II and the Korean War, where he earned a Purple Heart.
