She was a native of Randolph County, the widow of J. Van Owens, a homemaker and a member of Fayetteville Street Baptist Church.
Surviving are daughter, Leland Harvell of Surfside Beach, S.C.; two granddaughters; three great-grandsons.

ASHEBORO - Rebecca Elaine Moore Pack, 55, of 143 Trogdon Pond Road, Asheboro, died Sunday, March 3, 2002, at the home.

She was a native of Randolph County, the widow of Robert "Bobby" Pack and an employee of Black & Decker Corp.

Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Asheboro Pentecostal Holiness Church, with Pastor J.C. Miles and the Rev. James Ward officiating. Burial will be in Oaklawn Cemetery.
A native of Randolph County, he retired from the maintenance department at Randolph Community College and attended Asheboro Pentecostal Holiness Church.
Surviving are wife, Viola Frazier Presnell; daughter, Christine Thornburg of Asheboro; son, Jimmy Wayne Presnell of Asheboro; stepdaughters, Maureen Kilby of Asheboro, Cynthia Routh of Climax, Linda Jordan of Sophia, Anita Davis of Greensboro; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; eight stepgrandchildren; three stepgreat-grandchildren.

He was a native of Guilford County, the widower of Winona Hill Shofe and a retiree from S.E. Trogdon & Sons.

She was a native of Randolph County and a homemaker.

MT. GILEAD - Genevieve "Genny" Pyatte Robinson, 74, of 122 E. Ingram St., died Monday, March 4, 2002, at FirstHealth Montgomery Memorial Hospital, Troy.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at First Baptist Church, where she was a member, with the Rev. Chris Cadenhead officiating. Burial will be in Sharon Cemetery.
She was a native of McDowell County and retired from the Montgomery County Schools.
Surviving are husband, Robert Wade "Bob" Robinson Sr. of the home; son, Robert W. Robinson Jr. of Chapel Hill; daughters, Kathy R. Batchelor of Wilson, Melinda R. He was a World War II veteran and a Bronze Star recipient.

He was a native of Davidson County, the widower of Evelyn "Dot" Gallimore, a graduate of Farmer High School, a retired worker from Eveready Battery Co., a member of Piney Grove United Methodist Church and attended First United Methodist Church.
