SEAGROVE - Carol Comer, 84, of 832 Mack Road, died Friday, March, 15, 2002, at Autumn Care of Biscoe.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Monday at Bethel Church of God, with the Rev. Terry Beaver and the Rev. Phil Staton officiating. Burial will be at Pine Rest Cemetery in Robbins.
He was a native of Moore County, a U.S. Air Force veteran of World War II and a farmer.
Surviving are wife, Rachel Comer of Seagrove; sister, Minnie Dunlap of Seagrove; stepsons, Jentry Davis of Seagrove and Ernest R. Ragsdale of Troy; stepdaughter, Teresa Davis of Seagrove; two stepgrandchildren.

RANDLEMAN - Donald Conway Lamb, 77, of 3974 Lacy Drive, died Friday, March 15, 2002, at Randolph Hospital.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Monday at Randolph Memorial Park, with the Rev. Mark Walters officiating. Burial will be in Randolph Memorial Park.
He was a native of Randleman and a retired poultry farmer.
Surviving are sister, Mavis Bayse of Randleman; brother, Ralph Lamb of Randleman.

DENTON - Edward Hansel Elliott, 52, of Forest Park Drive, died Friday at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston Salem.
Funeral service will be 4 p.m. Monday at Siloam United Methodist Church, where he was a member, with the Rev. Sandy Young, the Rev. Thomas Griffis and the Rev. Dan Money officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
He was a native of Guilford County, a member of United Methodist Men, was active in the Boy Scouts of America, was a member of Order of the Arrow, God and Country and became the second Eagle Scout in Denton. He was self-employed in lumber sales, held a N.C. Real Estate broker license, N.C. Auctioneer License and was a Residential Real Estate Appraiser.
Surviving are wife, Peggy Fraley Elliott of the home; daughters, Michelle Renee Elliott Lipman of Atlanta, Ga. and Amber Lee Elliott of Oak Island; mother, Estelle Elliott of Denton; sisters, Marion Elliott Deerhake of Raleigh; two grandchildren.

She was a native of Randolph County, a retired worker from Randolph Mills and a member of the Franklinville Senior Citizens.
Surviving are sons, Robert T. Grose of Reidsville and Stephen Grose, of Kernersville; daughter, Anna G. Pugh of Asheboro; nine grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren.

She was a native of Randolph County, the widow of Thomas Edward Belo and a homemaker. She was a church secretary, Sunday school teacher of young adults, member, secretary of United Methodist Women, all at her church and a delegate to the Western North Carolina Annual Conference.

He was a native of Guilford County, a deacon and Sunday school teacher at his church and a chaplain of VFW Post #2908, Albemarle. He was a member of Gideons International, a retired employee of Atlantic Pacific and a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean Conflict.
