Graveside service will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Mt. Lebanon United Methodist Church Cemetery, with the Rev. Howard Dixon officiating.
She was a native of Randleman and a retired worker from Commonwealth Hosiery Mill.
Surviving are sisters, Pauline Hudson, Grace Hudson, Pearl Allred, all of Randleman, Ruth Crater of Archdale, Jean Taylor of Greensboro; brother, Ray Hudson of Randleman.

She was a native of Moore County and a retired worker from Southern Garment Co.

ASHEBORO - Joseph S. Weedman, 82, of 2286 Lambert Drive, Asheboro, died Tuesday, April 30, 2002, at his home.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Friday at The Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd, where he was a member, with Dr. Everette Thomas, Dr. John Rogers and Add Penfield officiating. Burial will be at Randolph Memorial Park.
He was a native of Fairview, Okla., and the widower of Dick Clark Weedman. He was the former business manager for The Courier-Tribune, a retired worker from Keister-Williams Newspaper Services Inc. and a former president of the Newspaper Advertising Executive Association of the Carolinas.
Surviving are wife, Rachel Shaw Weedman; daughter, Lucinda W. Craven of Greensboro; stepdaughters, Lisa Gooch of Summerfield, Terri Gooch of Ramseur; stepson, Adam Gooch of Greensboro; sister, Margie Fotis of Bakersfield, Calif.; two grandchildren; one great-grandchild.

He was a native of Surry County, a farmer and a World War II U.S. Army veteran. He attended New Hope United Methodist Church and retired from Burlington Industries.

He was a U.S. Air Force veteran of the Korean Conflict, former owner/operator of Connell Office Supplies and Connell Gifts, a member of the Asheboro Kiwanis Club and a former member of the Asheboro Jaycees.
