Memorial service will be held at a later date in New Jersey.
He was a native of Union County, N.J., a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and a retired worker from General Motors in Clark, N.J.
Surviving are wife, Mary Danco; daughter, Patricia Clyne Lindburg of Toms River, N.J.; son, Marty G. Danco of Asheboro; sister, Juney Brokow of Garwood, N.J.; two grandchildren; one great-grandchild.
The family will be at the home from noon-7 p.m. Saturday.

RANDLEMAN - Roy Grayson "Tripp" Cooper, 82, of 402 Small Road, died Friday, June 7, 2002, at his home.
Funeral service will be 4 p.m. Sunday at Pugh Funeral Home, Randleman, with Jehovah's Witnesses officiating. Burial will be in Randolph Memorial Park.
He was a native of Randolph County and a U.S. Army veteran of World War II in the 761st Tank-Tractor Battalion, the Korean War in the 187th Airborne and served as a military policeman. He was a member of the Randleman Kingdom Hall-Jehovah's Witnesses and a retired worker from Laughlin Hosiery Mill in Randleman.
Surviving are wife, Millie Small Cooper of Randleman; son, Greg Cooper of Randleman; brother, David O. Cooper Jr. of Asheboro; two grandchildren.
The family will be at the funeral home from 7-9 p.m. Saturday.

He was a native of Randolph County, a veteran of the U.S. Army in the 82nd Airborne Division and a former employee with Snyder Paper Co.
Surviving are son, Scottie Barnes of High Point; sister, Linda Hill of Trinity; brothers, Paul D. Barnes, Cecil C. Barnes, both of High Point.

She was a native of Randolph County and a member of the usher board and senior choir at her church.

She was a native of Thomasville and worked as a nurse's aid at Britthaven Nursing Home.

He was a native of Stokes County, the widower of Joyce Cranford Ward, a Boy Scout leader in Orange and Randolph counties and had worked as an insurance salesman.

He was a native of Randolph County, a manager in the hotel business and a former employee of Comm Scope in Catawba. He served in the U.S. Navy and was awarded the National Defense Service Medal, the Vietnam War Service Medal and a good conduct medal.
