ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. - Jeraldine Wright Robbins, 75, of 3429 74th St., died Thursday, June 27, 2002, at Northside Hospital.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Pugh Funeral Home, Asheboro, with the Rev. Billy Baker officiating. Burial will be in South Plainfield Friends Meeting Cemetery.
She was a native of Rapid City, S.D., the widow of James Alvin Robbins and a former resident of Randleman.
Surviving are son, James Houston Robbins of Newport Richey, Fla.; daughters, Donna Faye Baker of Conway, S.C., Carol Dietz of Newport Richey, Fla., Barbara Decker of Amsterdam, N.Y.; brother, Clarence Wright of Redington, Pa.; sisters, Eleween Saunders of Rapid City, S.D., Gladys Nelson and Marian Nelson, both of Minneapolis, Minn.; 28 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren.
The family will be at the funeral home 1-2 p.m. Sunday, prior to the service.

ASHEBORO - Kathleen Bennett Bruton Swink, 81, of 1190 Mack Road, Asheboro, died Friday, June 28, 2002, at SunBridge Care & Rehabilitation, Asheboro.
Graveside service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Randolph Memorial Park, with the Rev. Adrian Pugh officiating.
She was a native of Richmond County, the widow of William C. Swink, a retired worker from Eveready Battery and a member of Fayetteville Street Baptist Church.
Surviving are daughters, Barbara S. Whatley of Asheboro, Annette S. Mergler of Vale; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.
The family will be at the home.

Aleine W. York
ASHEBORO - Aleine Elizabeth Wade York, 83, of 334 Ridgecrest Road, Asheboro, died Friday, June 28, 2002, at her home.
Memorial service will be 4 p.m. Monday at Pugh Funeral Home, Asheboro, with the Rev. Jon Ferguson officiating.
She was a native of Badin, the widow of Claude E. York, a N.C. Zoo employee for 20 years and a member of the N.C. Zoological Society. She was a member of Central United Methodist Church, the Randolph Historical Society, Asheboro Woman's Club, Randolph Arts Guild and a Girl Scout leader.
Surviving are daughters, Portia E. Hicks of Randleman, Sabra E. Barfield of Oak Island; sister, Mary Ellen Wade of New Orleans, La.; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
The family will be at the funeral home Immediately after the memorial service

HIGH POINT - Claudette Evonne Cross, 50, of 1820 Branch St., Apt 1A, High Point, formerly of Asheboro, died Thursday, June 27, 2002, at Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital, Greensboro.
Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at Church of God of Prophecy, Asheboro.
Surviving are sons, Tyrone D. Cross of Asheboro, Quentin C. Cross of High Point, De Angelo Cross of Brooklyn, N.Y.; sisters, Nora L. Pratt of Battle Creek, Mich., Mary L. Jones of Brooklyn, N.Y., Paulette Cooper of Binghamton, N.Y.; brothers, Charles N. Everett of Asheboro, Les C. Everett of Chicago, Ill.; five grandchildren.
The family will be at the church at noon on Tuesday, other times at the home of Charles Everett, 1006 Martin Luther King Jr. Drive, Asheboro.

Ray A. Bryant
SOPHIA - Ray Allen Bryant, 70, of 2526 Marsh Mountain Road, died Friday, June 28, 2002, at Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital, Greensboro.
Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Monday at South Plainfield Friends Meeting, where he was a member, with the Rev. Hugh Spaulding and the Rev. Ernest Beck officiating. Burial, with Masonic graveside rites, will be in the Meeting cemetery.
He was a native of High Point, a graduate of Jamestown High School, where he was a football player, and a Korean War veteran. He coached roller speed skaters in High Point and coached baseball and refereed high school football in North Carolina. He was a Mason, a member and past master of Asheboro Lodge # 699, a Scottish Rite Mason, a Shriner, a member of the Oasis Temple and a member and past president of the Randolph Shrine Club.
Surviving are wife, Jean Bryant; son, Tony Bryant of Fort Mill, S.C.; daughters, Terri Lamb and Tammy Bodenhamer, both of Sophia; brothers, Garland Bryant of Archdale, Charles Bryant of Oriental; three granddaughters; three stepgrandchildren.
The family will be at Pugh Funeral Home, Randleman, 7-8:30 p.m. Sunday.

LIBERTY - Ashley Nicole Brower, 16, of 1838 Kivett Council Road, died Friday, June 28, 2002, at Randolph Hospital.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Monday at Pleasant Union Wesleyan Church, with the Rev. Ray Brim officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
She was a native of Randolph County and a rising junior at Eastern Randolph High School.
Surviving are father, Sam Brower of the home; mother, Mary Edwards Brower of Liberty; half-sisters, Amy Edwards of Greensboro, Stacey Baysinger of Asheboro; grandparents, Jack and Evelyn Brower of the home.

BENNETT - Robert Harold Teeter, 74, of 6676 Carl Brady Road, died Friday, June 28, 2002, at Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital, Greensboro.
Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Monday at Mt. Zion United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Andy Scott officiating. Burial will be in the church Cemetery, with military honors.
He was a native of Brooklyn, N.Y., a graduate of the University of Miami, a member of Phi Kappa Tau Fraternity, a manufacturer representative who sold beauty and barber supplies and a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and the Korean Conflict. He attended Mt. Zion United Methodist Church.
Surviving are wife, Artie Brady Teeter of the home; daughters, Terry McBride of Wills Point, Texas, Arlene Tuschl of Atlanta, Ga., Susan Teeter of Princeton, N.J.; sons, Rick Teeter of Miami, Fla., Don Spoon of High Rock Lake-Lexington; sisters, Joan Stanwyck of Stuart, Fla., Ann Mulford of Lincolnville, Maine; five grandchildren.

Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Sunday at First Baptist Church, Asheboro, where she was a member, with Dr. John S. Rogers and the Rev. Mark Hall officiating. Burial will be in Oaklawn Cemetery.
Surviving are daughters, Helen Wood Holt of Kernersville, Jane O. Pugh of Winston-Salem, Sally O. Sink of Thomasville; sisters, Lyde Delk of Jackson Creek, Ruth Clodfelter of Thomasville; 17 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren.

ASHEBORO - Annie Belle Cox, 76, of 2925 Zoo Parkway, Asheboro, died Saturday, Sept. 28, 2002, at Randolph Hospital.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Shiloh Baptist Church, where she was a member, with the Rev. Bruce McLanahan, the Rev. Leon Wood and the Rev. David Schwartz officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
She was a native of Randolph County.
Surviving are brothers, Kermit Cox of Asheboro, W. H. Cox of Ramseur, Lloyd Cox of Melbourne, Fla.; sister, Patsy Coward of Ramseur.

Fannie W. Jenkins
BISCOE - Fannie Morris Wynne Jenkins, 92, of 425 E. Main St., died Saturday, Sept. 28, 2002, at Tara Plantation of Carthage.
Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Page Memorial United Methodist Church, where she was a member, with the Rev. Jay W. Bissett and the Rev. David Beck officiating. Burial will be in Biscoe Cemetery.
She was a native of Powellsville, the widow of Walter I. Jenkins Sr., co-operator of Biscoe Drug Store for over 30 years, and on several committees at her church.
Surviving are son, Ingram Jenkins of Biscoe; stepdaughter, Esther Crafton of Richmond, Va.; two grandsons; two stepgrandchildren; five great-grandchildren.
The family will be at Phillips Funeral Home, Star, 7-9 p.m. Monday.
