Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Ophir United Methodist Church, Troy, where she was a member, with the Rev. Glenn Hancock officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
She was a native of Montgomery County and a homemaker.
Surviving are son, Sammy W. Davis of Mooresville; brothers, Paul Hall of Troy, Rayborn Hall of Asheboro, Herbert Hall of Mooresville; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.

She was a member of Staley Baptist Church and the Young Adult's Sunday School class and a claims adjuster for Penn National Insurance Co.

He was a native of Randolph County, the widower of Mattie Crotts Goins and a World War II U.S. Army veteran who received a Purple Heart and the Distinguished Service Cross. He was retired from Davis Tire.

MT. GILEAD - The Rev. David Mack Kime, 63, of 206 E. Allenton St., died Monday, July 15, 2002, at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center, Winston-Salem.
Graveside service will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Sharon Cemetery, with Masonic graveside rites.
He was a native of Montgomery County and attended Wingate and Limestone colleges and Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary, where he received the Associate of Excellence Award. He was a member of Bethel Baptist Church, where he was also the pastor, and previously the pastor at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Troy, First Baptist Church in Star, and other churches in the state. He was a member of the executive board of the N.C. Baptist State Convention, a past moderator of the Montgomery County Baptist Association, a trustee of the Christian Action League and a founding member of the Mt. Gilead Spirit Committee. He was a member of Blackmer Lodge #127, a past president of the Mt. Gilead Lions Club, the first chairman of the board of directors of the Mt. Gilead Museum Committee and on the board of directors for the Montgomery County Social Services.
Surviving are wife, Clydene Dunn Kime of the home; son, David Edward Kime of Mt. Gilead; daughter, Laura K. Anderson of Mt. Gilead; brother, Chester Leonard Kime Jr. of Wadesboro; five grandchildren.
The family will be at the church following the service.
