She was a native of Randolph County, a homemaker and a member of Rehobeth United Methodist Church.
Surviving are daughter, Patricia Osborne of Kernersville; son, Larry J. Goley of Wilmington; sisters, Faye Johnson, Alice Dorsett, both of Ramseur; brother, Jim Johnson of Ramseur; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Grace Baptist Temple, Julian, with the Rev. Bill Huffman officiating. Burial will be 3 p.m. in Mount Herman Cemetery, Surry County.
He was a native of Surry County and employed with Vickrey Seating.

She was a native of Margengo County, Ala., the widow of Harold Lloyd Gilchrist and a retired employee of Thomasville Furniture Industries.
Surviving are daughters, Shirley Gilchrist of Denton, Brenda Chandler of Enterprise, Miss.; sister, Joyce Creasy of Tangerine, Fla.; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
