Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Monday at Clearview Baptist Church, where she was a member, with the Rev. Ronald Hester officiating. Burial will be in Hamburg Baptist Church cemetery.
She was a native of Ft. Myers, Fla., a homemaker and a retired beautician.
Surviving are son, John Bryant of Franklinville; brother, S.W. Turner of Ft. Myers, Fla.; sisters, Juanita Anderson of Venice, Fla., Edna Jean Wingate of Nokomis, Fla.; one granddaughter.

ASHEBORO - Odis Dillard Shelton, 77, of 2230 Deer Run Lane, Asheboro, died Thursday, Sept. 12, 2002, at Moses H. Cone Hospital, Greensboro.
Graveside service will be 11 a.m. Monday at the Tucker Family Cemetery, Seagrove, with B.J. Chriscoe officiating.
He was a native of Rockingham County, raised in Randolph County and a retired brick mason.

JULIAN - Gladys Gibson Thompson, 77, of 4340 Folger Road, died Saturday, Sept. 14, 2002.
Graveside service will be 11 a.m. Monday at Gilmore Memorial Park.
She was a native of Roanoke, Va., and a homemaker.
Surviving are daughter, Barbara T. Smith of Julian; son, William A. Thompson of Greensboro; brother, Donald "Sonny" Gibson of Greensboro; four grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren.

DENTON - Caprice Elliott Hilton, 52, of Jim Elliott Road, died Friday, Sept. 13, 2002, at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center.
Graveside service will be 4 p.m. Monday at Mountain View Memorial Gardens, with the Rev. Vern Peterson officiating.
She was a native of Guilford County, a graduate of Denton High School, attended North Carolina State University and was a self-employed farmer.
Surviving are parents, Kermit and Sue Elliott of Denton; daughter, Karma H. Mahala of Denton; brother, Brent Elliott of Denton; one grandchild.

ASHEBORO - Warren Haran Leach, 75, of 5387 Seagrove Plank Road, Asheboro, died Sunday, Sept. 15, 2002, at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Grace Baptist Temple Church, where he attended, with the Rev. Arnold Ray Comer and the Rev. Clay Davis officiating. Burial will be in Randolph Memorial Park with military honors.
He was a native of Randolph County, a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and a retired plant supervisor of Luck's Beans. He also drove a school bus for Seagrove Elementary School, being recognized in 1995 as the outstanding bus driver for Randolph County and was presented the Tracy Calhoun Award.
Surviving are wife, Mary D. Leach of the home; son, Don Leach of Asheboro; sister, Jerri Cooper of Asheboro; brother, Bill Leach Sr. of Asheboro; two grandsons.

LEXINGTON - Florice Sides Allred, 94, of Lexington Health Care, formerly of Asheboro, died Sunday, Sept. 15, 2002, at Lexington Memorial Hospital.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at First United Methodist Church with the Rev. John K. Ferree and the Rev. Jill Alventosa-Brown officiating. Burial will be 4 p.m. at Shady Grove Wesleyan Church Cemetery, Colfax.
She was a native of Walker County, Ala., the widow of Rev. Paul E. Allred Sr. and a member of Neighbors Grove Wesleyan Church, Asheboro, where she had served as a Sunday school teacher. She was a graduate of High Point College and a retired public school teacher.
Surviving are sons, Paul E. "Eddie" Allred Jr. of Lexington, Rev. Dr. C. Robert "Bob" Allred of Atlanta, Ga.; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.
The family will be at the church 1-2 p.m. Tuesday.

He was a native of Randolph County, a retired worker from Klaussner Furniture Industries of Asheboro and the 1985 North Carolina State Horseshoe Doubles Champion.

He was a charter member of Coleridge Lions Club and a World War II U.S. Army veteran.
Surviving are wife, Lola Poole Murray of the home; daughters, Carolyn Ammen of Coleridge, Marcelle Rightsell of Asheboro, Phyllis Owens of New Bern; three grandchildren; one great-grandchild; one stepgrandson; three stepgreat-grandchildren.
