Surviving are son, John Leroy McIntosh of Staley; brother, Ernest Emerson Jr. of New York, N.Y.; sisters, Elmarie Alston of Greensboro, Sallie Underwood of Sanford; two grandchildren.

She was a native of Randolph County and vice president of Northgate Muffler Distributors.

SNOW CAMP - Ross Isham Hinshaw, 77, of 9717 Snow Camp Road, died Monday, Nov. 25, 2002, at Britthaven of Guilford, Greensboro.
Graveside service will be 11 a.m. Friday at Rocky River Friends Cemetery, Siler City, with the Rev. David Hobson officiating.
He was a native of Alamance County, the widower of Mildred White Hinshaw and a retired cabinet maker for Hinshaw Cabinet Shop. He was a member of Rocky River Friends Meeting and of the Sunday school class.
Surviving are son, Henry Lee Hinshaw of Snow Camp; brothers, Floyd C. Hinshaw of Snow Camp, Jack Hinshaw of Mebane, Virgil Hinshaw of Burlington.
The family will be at Smith & Buckner Funeral Home, Siler City, one hour prior to the service on Friday.

MANASSAS, Va. - J. Livingston Jones died Friday, Nov. 22, 2002, in Manassas, Va.
Memorial service will be 2:30 p.m. Sunday at First United Methodist Church in Asheboro, where he was a member, with the Rev. Michael Holder officiating. A memorial service was held Nov. 24 at Sterling United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Arlington National Cemetery in December.
He was a native of Columbus, Ga., the widow of Tina Presnell Jones and Ruth B. Jones, a World War II U.S. Air Force veteran and a graduate of Georgia Tech with a degree in Civil Engineering. He was a member of the Randolph Golden K Kiwanis Club, N.C. Society of Engineers, a Sunday school teacher for the John Wesley Class at his church and a volunteer for the Randolph Community Concert Series.
Surviving are daughters, Carolyn Sloan of Portland, Maine, Fay Eifler of Sterling, Va.; sons, Ray Jones of Manassas, Va., Don Jones and Clark Jones, both of Raleigh; stepson, Edwin Presnell of Augusta, Ga.; stepdaughters, Ellen Smoak of Greensboro, Barbara Presnell of Lexington; 14 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.

She was a native of Montgomery County, the widow of Winfred Stutts, a member of the United Methodist Women and Robbins Chapter #283 Order of the Eastern Star, and a monitor for Handicapped Students with Moore County Schools.

He was a native of Moore County and a retired worker from Burlington Mills after 45 years.

He was a native of Asheboro, a member of First Advent Christian Church, where he had served as a deacon and choir member, and a retired employee of Electrolux Corp.
